Lily Allen is officially trading the winter blues for the golden hues of Mexico. Nearly a year after her high-profile separation from Stranger Things star David Harbour, the 40-year-old singer and actress is proving that she has found her groove again. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, January 25, the West End Girl hitmaker shared a carousel of images that radiated self-assurance and tropical bliss.

Lily loves Mexico, she captioned the post, which featured a series of playful and daring moments from her getaway. In one standout clip, Allen is seen relaxing on an outdoor lounge chair, dressed in a vibrant purple bandeau bikini top and high-waisted red bottoms. She turned a simple moment of rest into a mini-workout, lifting her legs and arms in a series of coordinated movements that highlighted her toned physique.

Another photograph captured the Smile singer at the edge of a pristine infinity pool, with the vast, glistening ocean serving as her backdrop. The post quickly became a magnet for fan praise, with followers celebrating her revitalized energy and “carefree” attitude. One fan humorously commented, I’d love to believe in anything as much as you believe in your bikini wax, while another simply noted she was living the dream.

This sunny escape serves as a significant reset for Allen, following a tumultuous year in her personal life. Reports recently confirmed that she and Harbour, 50, officially listed their meticulously designed Brooklyn townhouse for sale. The former couple originally put the property on the market for nearly $8 million in late 2025, but they have since dropped the price to $7.3 million as they look to finalize the distribution of their shared assets.

The singer’s “happy era” comes just as her professional life reaches a new fever pitch. 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most successful years of her career, largely thanks to the runaway success of her fifth studio album, West End Girl. The record, which fans believe was heavily inspired by the breakdown of her marriage, has already amassed over 150 million streams and earned her several 2026 BRIT Award nominations.

To support the album, Allen is preparing to embark on her first major headlining tour in seven years. The “West End Girl Tour” will kick off in the UK this March, starting at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall before concluding with a residency at the London Palladium. Due to overwhelming demand, she has also announced a massive summer arena run for June and July, including three nights at London’s O2 Arena.

While Lily is focused on her music and daughters, Ethel and Marnie, David Harbour is also navigating a busy 2026. He is set to star in the HBO dark comedy DTF St. Louis alongside Jason Bateman, which premieres early this year. Additionally, he will reprise his role as Alexei Shostakov (Red Guardian) in the Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled for release later this year.

Despite the “bittersweet” nature of her recent album, Allen appears to be looking forward rather than backward. Between her successful West End acting stints and her return to global pop stardom, she is successfully balancing her roles as a mother and a mogul. Her current Mexican getaway seems to be the final bit of rest she’ll get before “LFG ’26” truly kicks into high gear.
