Timothée Chalamet returned to the spotlight in style at the 46th London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, taking home the Actor of the Year award for his lead role in Marty Supreme. In the film, Chalamet plays Marty Mauser, a driven table tennis hustler inspired by real-life champion Marty Reisman. His performance has drawn praise from critics for its intensity and charm, cementing Chalamet’s status as one of Hollywood’s most daring young actors.
The evening also celebrated other standout achievements in film. Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another won Film of the Year, with Anderson taking home Director and Screenwriter of the Year.
