The nomination follows a major year for Infiniti after her breakout role in One Battle After Another, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. In the film, she plays Willa Ferguson, the daughter of a hidden revolutionary character played by Leonardo DiCaprio. The role brought her widespread attention and placed her in awards conversations beyond the NAACP Image Awards, including a BAFTA Rising Star nomination and a Golden Globe nod.
Before her film success, Infiniti first caught public attention in the Apple TV+ series Presumed Innocent. She played Jaden Sabich in the legal thriller’s first season. Although the show is returning with a new cast led by Rachel Brosnahan, Infiniti has already moved on to new projects. She is currently filming The Julia Set, a coming-of-age drama centered on math and identity, alongside Christopher Briney and Gillian Anderson in London.
Another major project on the way is Hulu’s The Testaments, the sequel series to The Handmaid’s Tale. Infiniti will take on the role of Agnes, a central character who offers a new view of the world of Gilead. According to industry reports, showrunner Bruce Miller chose her after watching her performance in Presumed Innocent and noticing her wide range, including her popular K-pop dance videos online.
Outside of acting, Infiniti has also made a strong move into fashion. She recently became a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton and has appeared at major fashion events in Paris and New York. Despite the growing fame, she often talks about her early love for theater and says she still hopes to return to the stage someday. She has described herself as a theater kid from Indiana who never expected such a fast rise.
