John Travolta recently shared a touching family moment with his 5.6 million Instagram followers, proving that despite his legendary Hollywood status, his most important role remains that of a doting father.

The actor posted a heartfelt “belated Christmas card” for 2025, featuring a rare look at his two children, 25-year-old Ella Bleu and 15-year-old Benjamin. The image, captured on a city street under the glow of night lights, quickly went viral as fans marveled at how much the youngest Travolta has grown.

In the snapshot, Travolta stands proudly between his children, with an arm lovingly wrapped around Ben. The teenager, who celebrated his 15th birthday this past November, notably towered over his 71-year-old father, a transformation that left many followers stunned in the comments.

Ella, meanwhile, leaned her head affectionately on her father’s shoulder, a gesture that underscored the incredibly tight-knit bond the trio has maintained through years of both triumph and tragedy.

The Grease icon shared the photo with the simple, warm caption: My beautiful babies in my belated Christmas card 2025. Hope all is going well. Ella was quick to respond to her father’s post, dropping three red heart emojis in a public display of support.

This frequent social media interaction has become a hallmark of their relationship, especially as they continue to honor the memory of Travolta’s late wife, Kelly Preston, who passed away from breast cancer in 2020.

As of February, John Travolta is enjoying a productive year both personally and professionally. While he often uses his platform to share tributes to Preston and their late son, Jett, he is also heavily focused on his upcoming cinematic projects.

He recently rang in the New Year with Ella, sharing festive footage of a fireworks display and wishing his fans the best New Year as the clock struck midnight. One of his most anticipated upcoming ventures is the action-survival thriller Black Tides, directed by Die Hard 2 filmmaker Renny Harlin.

In this project, Travolta stars as Bill Pierce, an estranged father attempting to mend his relationship with his daughter during a sailing trip off the Spanish coast. The film’s stakes turn deadly when their vessel is attacked by rogue orcas, forcing the family into a harrowing fight for survival across the open sea.

Crucially, Black Tides marks another professional collaboration between Travolta and his daughter, Ella Bleu. While she has appeared with her father in previous films like Old Dogs and The Poison Rose, this survival thriller features her in a pivotal role alongside Scream actress Melissa Barrera.

Production for the film has been taking place in Gran Canaria, Spain, where Harlin has utilized “old-school” in-camera effects and real water work to create a visceral experience.

Whether he is battling rogue predators at sea or sharing quiet family milestones at home, Travolta remains a magnetic presence in Hollywood, seamlessly balancing his enduring legacy with new, adventurous chapters.

Do you think John and Ella Bleu Travolta’s frequent collaborations on screen help strengthen their real-life bond, or do you prefer seeing them tackle separate projects as they navigate their respective careers? Share your thoughts in the comments.
