Hilary Duff just gave a couple of fans a night they will never forget, proving she is still the queen of heartfelt moments. On Friday, February 13, the 38-year-old singer kicked off her highly anticipated residency at Voltaire in Las Vegas. During a performance of her hit song With Love, she invited two fans onto the stage to help her with the track’s famous dance moves.

The moment was actually a secret plan that Hilary was in on from the start. Once the choreography wrapped up, she playfully paused the show, saying Um, just one second, before passing her microphone to one of the fans. The crowd went wild as he dropped to one knee and proposed to his boyfriend right there on stage.

As soon as the fan said yes, red confetti rained down from the ceiling to celebrate the new engagement. Hilary didn’t hesitate to join in, rushing over to give the couple a huge group hug while the audience cheered for them to share a kiss. According to reports from fans at the scene, it was easily the highlight of the opening night of her residency.

This Vegas run at The Venetian is just the beginning of a very busy year for the star. After her Valentine’s Day weekend shows, she has three more dates scheduled for May at the same venue. She also recently revealed the full schedule for her Lucky Me World Tour, which is set to travel through North America, Europe, Australia, and Mexico throughout the rest of the year.

Fans have plenty more to look forward to, as Hilary is officially releasing her sixth studio album, luck… or something, on February 20. This marks her first full album in over a decade, and she has already been teasing new tracks like Mature and Roommates.

To give fans an even closer look at her return to music, she is starring in a new docuseries directed by Sam Wrench that follows her journey of balancing motherhood with her big career comeback.

On the acting side, Hilary is set to star in a new Hulu series titled Pretty Ugly, which is described as a stylized look at the world of competitive pageants. She plays Miranda Miller, a former pageant queen who is obsessively trying to make her daughter a star.

The multi-talented entertainer is clearly happy to be back on stage, recently telling the press that she is over the moon to be stepping on stage again after such a long break. With her tour dates spanning into early 2027 and a new album just days away, it seems she is successfully reclaiming her place at the center of the pop landscape.
