Leonardo DiCaprio was the center of attention on Sunday night as he walked the red carpet for the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The 51-year-old actor looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo, paired with a crisp white shirt and bow tie, marking another high-profile moment for the veteran star.

DiCaprio is nominated for Leading Actor for his role in One Battle After Another, the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed film that racked up an impressive fourteen nominations this year. The Hollywood blockbuster also sees co-stars Chase Infiniti and Teyana Taylor competing for Leading and Supporting Actress awards, respectively.

Chase, 25, looked radiant in a strapless burgundy gown with a peplum hem, while Teyana made an impact in a brown wrap dress featuring a frilled collar. Together with DiCaprio, the trio made a striking appearance, drawing attention from photographers and fans alike.

“We are delighted to welcome so many of this year’s remarkable nominees to London for the EE BAFTA Film Awards, a vibrant celebration of the creativity, craft and collaboration that goes into British and global cinema,” said Emma Baehr, Executive Director of Awards and Content, highlighting the importance of the night for film and the wider creative industries.

One Battle After Another faces tough competition, including the supernatural horror Sinners with thirteen nominations and Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet, which earned eleven nods and set a record for most nominations for a female-directed film at BAFTA. Irish actress Jessie Buckley, already a Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award winner for her role in Hamnet, is among those vying for top honors alongside DiCaprio.

The ceremony, hosted by Alan Cumming, featured a mix of performances and tributes, including a live DJ set by Magic FM’s Neev Spencer and musical acts from British singer Jessie Ware and K-pop group Demon Hunters. The night also included a special honor for Dame Donna Langley, who received the BAFTA Fellowship for her contributions to the film industry.

DiCaprio could secure his second BAFTA with this nomination, adding to his legacy as one of Hollywood’s most respected actors. With One Battle After Another leading the nominations, the actor and his co-stars are in the spotlight not just for their performances but for the film’s potential haul.

Leonardo’s red carpet look proves he still commands attention both on and off screen. Personally, I think his continued nominations show his lasting influence in cinema. Do you think DiCaprio will take home the award this year? Share your thoughts in the comments.
