The premiere of Scream 7 brought together both familiar faces and new stars. One of the biggest moments of the night came when Neve Campbell and Isabel May appeared side by side on the red carpet. The two posed together and shared a hug as cameras flashed.
Fans quickly picked up on the importance of the moment. Campbell is a longtime face of the franchise, while May is stepping into a major role in the latest film. Their on-screen connection as mother and daughter has become a key part of the story. Observers at the event summed it up by saying, It’s a mother-daughter reunion! Campbell’s return has drawn attention, especially after she did not appear in the previous film due to a pay dispute. In recent interviews, she has thanked fans for their support and said she was glad to return to the role. Outside of the horror franchise, she has also appeared in the Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer.

May continues to build her career. She became known for her role in 1883 and later appeared in 1923. She is also set to star with Jennifer Lopez in The Last Mrs. Parrish directed by Robert Zemeckis.
The cast also includes returning actors such as Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding. New additions include Joel McHale, Anna Camp, Mckenna Grace, and Jimmy Tatro.
The film will be released on February 27, by Paramount Pictures. Industry talk suggests the studio is already thinking about future films that could continue this storyline.
In my opinion, the focus on Sidney and her daughter gives the series a fresh direction while still keeping its roots. It connects the past with a new generation. Which member of the new cast do you think will survive the night? Share your thoughts in the comments.
