Priyanka Chopra Jonas is making New York City her stage as she promotes her latest film, The Bluff. Chopra called the role one of her most challenging, requiring months of sword-fighting and combat training. The film also stars Karl Urban as the vengeful Captain Connor and Ismael Cruz Córdova as her husband, T.H. Bodden. Produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures, the movie has been praised for showing pirate life in a realistic and brutal way. “We are making an attempt to show what it was actually like to be a pirate in the 1700s, rather than recreating Pirates of the Caribbean,” she told Variety.
Chopra is also busy with other projects around the world. She is filming the second season of Citadel, the hit spy series, and will soon return to Indian cinema with the road-trip film Jee Le Zaraa. Fans are also excited about her upcoming Telugu film, Varanasi, directed by S.S. Rajamouli and set to release in April 2027.
