Regina Hall, 55, Serves Curve-Hugging Glam in Custom Cong Tri Look That Oozes Red Carpet Seduction at the Actor Awards
Regina Hall stepped onto the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards with both style and purpose. The actress attended the ceremony as part of the cast of One Battle After Another, which is nominated for Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture. She was also scheduled to present an award during the evening, marking an important moment in her career.
According to reporting by Emily Burack, Hall chose a custom look by Cong Tri for the event. She completed the outfit with Forever Diamonds, Aquazzura heels, and a Tyler Ellis clutch. The appearance marked her first time attending the Actor Awards, previously known as the SAG Awards.
Hall’s presence at the ceremony comes as her role in One Battle After Another continues to draw attention. In the film, she plays Deandra, a member of a militant group. Known mostly for comedic roles in the past, Hall shared that this part was very different from what she expected.

She explained, Actually, I’m the one person that was not funny, ever, noting that she initially thought her character might provide humor.
Speaking to The New York Times, Hall said she values films that stay with audiences even after they leave the theater. She explained, What I enjoy about a film like this is that people might walk away and talk about it.
She added that many movies fade quickly from memory, but stories that spark reflection can be more meaningful. Hall also shared her surprise at the film’s action scenes, saying, Sometimes I watch a movie and I don’t even think about it after I leave. But I think anything that could provoke discussion and self-reflection is great. It’s also incredibly entertaining. I walked away and was like, ‘Gosh. How did he make a car chase exciting with three cars and two of them are slow as [expletive]?’
Beyond her latest role, Hall has also spoken in the past about fashion and representation. In a 2022 interview with Essence, she reflected on the long-standing influence of Black women in shaping style.
She said, That’s hard to say because we’re so influential in fashion and style. She pointed out that Black creativity has often shaped trends even when recognition was limited. Hall also noted that it is encouraging to see more designers from diverse backgrounds gaining visibility and being directly involved in the fashion process.
Her appearance at the Actor Awards brought together several parts of her journey. It showed her growth as an actress willing to take on more serious roles, as well as her continued presence in fashion and culture.
It’s refreshing to see Hall take on roles that challenge expectations while still showing confidence on the red carpet. She seems to balance both performance and presence in a natural way.
