9 Years of Videos Later Mrbeast Discloses How Much He Has Given Away
Jimmy Donaldson, famously known as MrBeast, recently weighed in on the staggering amount of money he has distributed throughout his career. After a report circulated claiming he had given away roughly $200 million over the past decade, the 27-year-old creator suggested the actual number is likely much higher.
In a post on X dated March 9, he noted, “I haven’t done the math, but I feel like it’s prob higher tbh.” Tracking the exact total has become nearly impossible as his production scale has shifted from gifting cars to friends to running multi-million dollar television events.
His latest major project, Beast Games on Prime Video, recently concluded its second season with a massive $5 million grand prize. The season winner, Tyler Lucas, took home the life-changing sum after a grueling “Strong vs. Smart” competition that featured 200 contestants.

Beyond the grand prizes, Donaldson’s financial reach extends into massive community incentives and intricate puzzles. For instance, his $1 million Super Bowl puzzle was recently solved, adding another seven-figure payout to his lifetime total.
To maintain the liquidity needed for these sudden ideas, his company, Beast Industries, reportedly manages a dedicated reserve known as the “Jimmy Fund.” MrBeast’s philanthropic efforts also contribute significantly to his career-long spending.
Through his Beast Philanthropy channel, he has funded global initiatives ranging from building wells in Africa to providing medical surgeries for thousands. Because these projects involve massive logistical costs on top of the direct aid, the “math” behind his total generosity remains a moving target that grows with every new upload.
When he isn’t giving away millions, Donaldson is busy expanding his massive business empire. Beast Industries recently made headlines by acquiring Step, a financial app designed to teach teenagers and young adults about credit and saving.
He has also been focused on his food brands, specifically Lunchly, a snack-kit collaboration with fellow creators Logan Paul and KSI that launched in late 2024. Looking ahead, fans can expect even larger spectacles as Beast Games prepares for an international third season.
Casting is currently underway for a global theme that will see one representative from every country compete for another $5 million prize. Filming for the new season is expected to take place between April and July across 14 different international locations, including Monaco and Japan.
As of March, MrBeast continues to dominate YouTube with over 470 million subscribers, a record-breaking figure that keeps his influence at an all-time high. With his eyes set on becoming the first person to reach a billion subscribers, his strategy of reinvesting every dollar back into more ambitious content shows no signs of slowing down.
