Demi Moore made a striking impression at the South by Southwest festival on Thursday, March 12, as she celebrated the world premiere of her newest film, I Love Boosters!. Stepping onto the red carpet in Austin, Texas, the 63-year-old actress wore a sophisticated Saint Laurent wrap dress featuring a high leg slit and a vibrant orange sash.
The appearance has sparked fresh conversations online regarding her slender physique, which was previously noted during her attendance at the Actor Awards earlier this month. While some social media users have speculated about her health or weight loss methods, Moore remained focused on the festivities, posing warmly with director Boots Riley.

Her date for the evening was her famous 1.2-pound chihuahua, Pilaf, who has become a staple at major events alongside the star. Meanwhile, co-star Keke Palmer also commanded attention in a bright yellow halter gown that highlighted her athletic frame.
The film itself is a satirical caper about a group of shoplifters, known as the Velvet Gang, who decide to target a ruthless fashion mogul played by Moore. The story draws inspiration from a 2006 song by the director’s musical group, The Coup, which defines a booster as a person who steals from retail stores and sells the goods in the streets for dirt cheap.
The premiere comes at a high point in Moore’s career, following her celebrated and intense performance in the 2024 body horror hit The Substance. That role earned her a Best Actress nomination at the 2025 Oscars, where she ultimately lost to Mikey Madison for Anora.

Looking forward, fans can expect even more from Moore throughout the year, as she is officially set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later this year. She has also recently appeared in Taylor Sheridan’s series The Landman, continuing her streak of high-profile projects.
I Love Boosters! features a massive ensemble cast including Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Eiza González, and LaKeith Stanfield. Early reviews from the festival have been exceptionally positive, with many critics praising the film’s sharp wit and social commentary.
