Al Pacino (85) Joins His Three Adult Kids for a Rare Family Moment at Premiere
Al Pacino enjoyed a heartwarming family evening this past Thursday, March 12, stepping onto the red carpet at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica to celebrate a major milestone for his daughter.
The 85-year-old legendary actor was present for the Los Angeles premiere of I Live Here Now, the feature film directorial debut of his eldest daughter, 36-year-old Julie Pacino. The star was joined by his three adult children, posing for rare red carpet photos alongside Julie and his 25-year-old twins, Anton and Olivia.
The family appeared in high spirits, even sharing a playful moment as they struck peace signs for the photographers. Another touching image captured the close bond between the father and his daughter, with Julie wrapping her arms around the actor as he smiled in his signature aviator sunglasses.
While the Godfather actor is generally private about his family life, he has recently spoken with warmth about the experience of embracing parenthood again in his later years. He shares his youngest child, two-year-old Roman, with Noor Alfallah, and has described his connection with the toddler as a mini miracle.
He noted that even with his busy schedule, he and his youngest son have established their own unique way of keeping in touch through technology. He does text me from time to time, Pacino revealed about his interactions with Roman.
Everything he does is interesting to me. So we talk. I play the harmonica with him, and we have made this kind of contact. So it’s fun. The actor’s career remains as active as ever, with his most recent performance appearing in the January thriller Dead Man’s Wire, directed by Gus Van Sant.
The film, which depicts the true story of a 1977 kidnapping, also stars Bill Skarsgård, Dacre Montgomery, and Colman Domingo. Pacino’s enduring presence in Hollywood continues to span diverse genres, from gritty crime dramas to recent high-profile commercials.
As for his daughter’s new project, I Live Here Now is a psychological thriller that dives into themes of identity and trauma, featuring performances from Madeline Brewer, Lucy Fry, and Matt Rife.
The film has already earned buzz for its surreal atmosphere and is expanding into more theaters throughout April. Julie Pacino is being hailed for her bold storytelling in this first feature, marking a successful start to her own path in the industry.
