Lip Reader Claims To Reveal Timothée Chalamet and Sister’s Words About Kylie Jenner
Timothée Chalamet was a central figure at the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15, and every move he made in the front row was meticulously documented by cameras. One particular moment that has since gone viral involves a conversation between the actor and his sister, Pauline Chalamet, while they sat in the star-studded audience.
According to lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling, who shared her analysis with The Mirror, the exchange between the siblings may have touched on Timothée’s relationship with Kylie Jenner.

During the broadcast, Pauline was filmed approaching her brother for a brief chat before the pair posed for a photograph together. While the interaction appeared perfectly normal to the casual observer, Hickling suggests that Timothée whispered a specific request to his sister regarding his partner.
Could you go easy on her? the actor allegedly asked, before repeating, I want you to go easy on her. Pauline reportedly gave a simple nod and responded, Okay, as the group settled back into their seats for the remainder of the ceremony.
While some viewers remain skeptical of the lip-reading claims, the moment has reignited long-standing rumors about the dynamic between the two women. Speculation regarding a potential rift first began in 2025 after Pauline shared a social media post criticizing billionaire wealth, which many fans interpreted as a subtle jab at Jenner’s financial status.
Despite the internet’s fascination with a possible feud, the trio appeared comfortable together throughout the night, with Jenner greeting Pauline warmly and offering a compliment on her attire.
Sources close to the couple have consistently maintained that Jenner’s family has fully embraced Chalamet into their inner circle. When they are in L.A. together, he spends time with her kids, too, an insider previously shared, noting that the relationship has brought a significant amount of happiness to the reality star’s life.
Chalamet is currently experiencing one of the most prolific periods of his career, having spent much of the year on the awards circuit for his role in Marty Supreme. In the Josh Safdie-directed sports drama, he portrays a professional table tennis player, a performance that earned him Best Actor wins at both the Golden Globes and the Critics’ Choice Awards.
The film, which also stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Tyler, the Creator, has been praised as a career-defining turn for the 30-year-old actor. The actor is showing no signs of slowing down, as he is set to headline two of the biggest cinematic releases of this year.
He will soon begin a massive global press tour for Dune: Part Three, the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi trilogy, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18. Additionally, he remains attached to a sequel for the 2023 hit Wonka, further cementing his status as one of the most bankable and versatile leading men in modern Hollywood.
Beyond his blockbuster franchises, Chalamet is also preparing to collaborate with director James Mangold on a high-stakes thriller titled High Side. In this project, he will play a former motorcycle racer who is drawn into a dangerous world of heist-related risks by his estranged brother.
Between his high-profile romance and his demanding production schedule, Chalamet continues to be one of the most talked-about figures in the global entertainment landscape.
