Lili Reinhart made a striking appearance at SXSW this March as she attended a press session ahead of her new film, Forbidden Fruits.

The actress wore a custom black dress by Elisabetta Franchi that drew attention for its daring design. She added a structured leather corset with an asymmetrical cut and a gold buckle, cinching her waist and creating a sculpted silhouette. The outfit balanced elegance with a hint of danger, making her one of the standout figures at the event.

Forbidden Fruits is a horror-comedy directed by Meredith Alloway and produced by Oscar winner Diablo Cody. Reinhart plays Apple, a retail worker who secretly leads a witchy femme cult in an upscale mall boutique called Free Eden. The film also features Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, Gabrielle Union, and internet personality Emma Chamberlain in her first major acting role.

Outside of acting, Reinhart keeps busy with her production company, Small Victory Productions, which focuses on women-centered stories. She recently appeared in the limited series Hal & Harper alongside Mark Ruffalo and received praise for her work in the thriller American Sweatshop. Fans can also look forward to her roles in the film adaptation of The Love Hypothesis and the political thriller The Very Best People.

Reinhart also manages her skincare brand, Personal Day, which focuses on products for people with acne-prone skin. Her appearance at SXSW shows her embracing a new phase in her career, one defined by bold creative choices and fearless fashion.

This look perfectly captures Lili’s confident and daring style. The mix of leather and sharp tailoring makes a strong statement while keeping the outfit elegant. She shows that edgy fashion can be both striking and sophisticated. What do you think of her black corset ensemble for this press event? Share your thoughts in the comments.
