Maura Higgins commanded the spotlight as she made a grand entrance at the Los Angeles premiere of The Drama this Tuesday. The 35-year-old former Love Island standout chose a sophisticated burgundy halter gown that featured a bold cutout at the waist to mark the occasion.

The dress was intricately designed with a silver ring motif and layered panels that transitioned into an elegant, flowing train. She enhanced her statuesque silhouette with matching heels and wore her dark hair in a polished updo, accessorizing the ensemble with deep red earrings.

The film being celebrated, The Drama, features Zendaya as Emma Harwood, a bookstore employee based in Louisiana. Her character is set to marry Charlie Thompson, a London-born museum director portrayed by Robert Pattinson.

The plot explores the tensions that arise when their relationship is pushed to its limits during a chaotic wedding week. Directed by Norwegian creator Kristoffer Borgli, the project is scheduled to reach audiences on April 3.

Higgins has recently experienced a significant surge in popularity within the United States following her appearance on the latest season of The Traitors US. Her participation in the high-stakes reality competition has served as a successful launchpad for her ambitions to establish a career in America.

The Irish model has been a frequent guest at major industry events lately as she continues a promotional tour. Her stateside success follows a long string of reality television achievements in the United Kingdom and Ireland, including her 2019 debut on Love Island.

In the years following her breakout, she has competed on various programs such as Dancing on Ice and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!. She also expanded her professional reach by taking on a hosting role for Love Island Games: Aftersun, which helped familiarize her with American viewers.

Her recent stint on Celebrity Traitors was particularly well-received, as her direct personality resonated with the show’s audience. During this time, she has been a fixture in the New York media circuit, including a high-profile stop at SiriusXM Studios.

A highlight of her recent press tour involved a public reconciliation with her Traitors co-star, Rob Rausch. After a betrayal during the season finale, Rausch presented Higgins with a luxury Hermès Birkin handbag valued at approximately $22,000.

Higgins was visibly thrilled by the gesture as Rausch wore gloves to present the red designer bag to her. “This is my win,” the model remarked during the presentation. “I knew I’d have my moment.”

After accepting the gift and sharing a hug with Rausch, she signaled that their competitive friction was a thing of the past. “You’re forgiven!” she told him, acknowledging the peace offering.

The pair credited fellow contestant Lisa Rinna for utilizing her industry connections to help facilitate the acquisition of the rare accessory. Rausch confirmed that Rinna played a major role in the process, prompting Higgins to offer a public thank you to the former Housewife.

Beyond her reality television work, Maura Higgins has been increasingly focused on brand partnerships and fashion ventures. She has collaborated with major retail brands like Ann Summers and Bellamianta, further solidifying her status as a commercial powerhouse.

The Drama serves as a major cinematic event for the year, marking another collaboration between Zendaya and the prestigious studio A24. The film’s director, Kristoffer Borgli, previously earned critical acclaim for the dark comedy Dream Scenario, which starred Nicolas Cage.

Zendaya remains one of the most influential stars of her generation, coming off the massive success of the Dune franchise and the tennis drama Challengers. Her co-star, Robert Pattinson, is also maintaining a busy schedule as he prepares to return to his role as the Caped Crusader in a forthcoming Batman sequel.

The premiere highlights the ongoing trend of reality stars crossing over into high-fashion and film promotion spaces. Higgins continues to prove that her brand has the longevity required to thrive in the competitive Los Angeles entertainment market.
