Tom Holland has adopted a series of innovative marketing tactics to generate buzz for the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. On March 18, Sony Pictures finally unveiled the first official trailer for the highly anticipated sequel.

Before the footage premiered, Holland hinted that the debut would break away from traditional industry standards. In a collaborative effort with the studio, the rollout began with fans around the world sharing localized snippets of the trailer on social media.

The sight of the skyscraper glowing over the Manhattan skyline served as a powerful reminder of the character’s deep connection to the city. Enthusiastic supporters took to the internet to praise the high-profile stunt, viewing it as a testament to the enduring popularity of the web-slinger.

The film features a massive ensemble cast that blends returning favorites with surprising new additions from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are back as MJ and Ned, though their characters currently have no memory of Peter’s existence.

The trailer also confirmed that Mark Ruffalo will appear as Bruce Banner, while Jon Bernthal makes a gritty return as Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. Newcomers like Sadie Sink have joined the production in undisclosed roles, alongside Michael Mando, who finally returns as the villainous Scorpion.

Beyond his duties as a superhero, Holland is set to have an incredibly busy summer season in 2026. Just two weeks before the release of the new Spider-Man, he will star alongside Zendaya in Christopher Nolan’s latest project, The Odyssey.
