Lori Loughlin, 61, Flaunts Timeless Beauty and Sultry Elegance in White Strapless Gown at ‘When Calls the Heart’ Event
Lori Loughlin made a striking return to the red carpet at the “When Calls the Heart” and “Hope Valley: 1874” event in West Hollywood on Wednesday. At 61, she looked radiant in a white strapless gown, paired with silver heels and a matching clutch. Her bronzed glow, silver earrings, and sleek ponytail completed her glamorous look.
The actress, best known for playing Abigail Stanton on the Hallmark series from 2014 to 2019, left the show after Season 6 due to the college admissions scandal. She served time in jail for her role in the scheme to get her daughters into the University of Southern California. Despite that, she is now returning to the series for its 14th season.
Michelle Vicary, Hallmark Media’s head of programming, told People, “Since the series’ debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties. At its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of ‘When Calls the Heart.’ We felt that season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail’s story with her return to this beloved series.”
In recent years, Loughlin has kept a lower profile, appearing in shows like Prime Video’s “On Call,” “Blue Bloods,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and the holiday rom-com “Fall into Winter.” She also attended the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s “Unforgettable Evening” gala earlier this month, where she again impressed fans with her youthful appearance.
Fans couldn’t get over how young Loughlin looked. Makeup artist Lyndsay Zavitz shared photos of the actress on Instagram, prompting comments such as “Wow! She looks amazing! What’s her secret?” and “Amazing! She looks so youthful wow.”
The Hallmark star’s appearance comes after her split from ex-husband Mossimo Giannulli in October 2025, ending nearly 28 years of marriage. The couple shares two daughters, Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella, 27.
A source told Us Weekly that the couple never fully recovered from the admissions scandal. “The school scandal was a turning point, and they never really connected or recovered their relationship after that,” the source said, adding that Loughlin felt her ex-husband “got her involved” in the situation. “She didn’t fully blame him, but he spearheaded it. She never fully forgave him and never fully got over it,” the source added.
Lori Loughlin’s red-carpet return shows that she still has star power and confidence. Her glowing appearance proves she can command attention and charm audiences even after years away from the spotlight. What do you think of Lori’s comeback? Share your thoughts in the comments.
