Florence Pugh recently took a well-deserved break from her busy schedule to spend an evening in Southern California. The 30-year-old Academy Award nominee was spotted exiting the popular Beverly Hills celebrity haunt, Funke, on Tuesday night, March 17.

Accompanied by a group of close friends, the actress showcased her signature bold style for the night out. She opted for a chic black and white stitched mini-dress, which she expertly paired with high-heeled black boots and a classic brown crossbody bag.

The outing occurred just hours after a massive milestone for her professional career. The first official trailer for her highly anticipated cinematic project, Dune: Part 3, was released to the public earlier that same day.

Pugh is set to reprise her pivotal role as Princess Irulan in the upcoming sci-fi epic. She will once again share the screen with Timothée Chalamet, who returns as Paul Atreides, and Zendaya, who portrays the fierce warrior Chani.

The ensemble cast for the third installment is remarkably star-studded, featuring returning favorites and intriguing new additions. Fans can expect to see Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, and Javier Bardem as Stilgar.

Newcomers to the franchise include Robert Pattinson, who is slated to play the character Scytale. The production also welcomes back Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, alongside Issach De Bankolé in the role of Farok.

Denis Villeneuve returns to the director’s chair to complete his visionary adaptation of Frank Herbert’s expansive universe. This specific chapter is based on the novel Dune Messiah and is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on December 18.

The narrative picks up twelve years into the reign of Paul “Muad’Dib” Atreides as the Emperor of the known universe. Having accepted the mantle of a messiah for the Fremen people, Paul finds himself at the center of a galaxy-wide religious conflict.

In the original text, the protagonist has unleashed a jihad that has successfully conquered most of the universe. However, he remains tragically powerless to stop the violent extremes of the religious movement he helped ignite.

Princess Irulan, played by Pugh, serves as a complex figure within this political and religious landscape. Her character’s journey is central to the intrigue of the imperial court as various factions plot against the Atreides dynasty.

Beyond her journey into the deserts of Arrakis, Florence Pugh has maintained an incredibly productive career across multiple genres. She recently starred in the romantic drama We Live in Time and has continued her work within the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Yelena Belova.

Pugh also starred in the Thunderbolts*, where she led a team of anti-heroes in a high-stakes action spectacle. Her ability to move between intimate indie films and massive blockbusters has made her one of the most sought-after talents of her generation.

In addition to her film work, the actress has been a prominent figure in the fashion world, frequently appearing as the face of luxury brands like Valentino. Her red carpet appearances remain a staple of fashion commentary due to her fearless approach to modern style.
