John Cena is getting ready for a new life after wrestling, but he does not plan on leaving the company that made him famous.

Even though he officially finished his career in the ring in December 2025, he recently told a big crowd at MEGACON Orlando that he is very excited about a new job. According to reports from the event and updates from Fade on X, Cena is trying to find a way to stay involved behind the scenes.

He told his fans during a Q&A session that he is currently working hard to find a specific path where he can still help out. Cena said, “I am working diligently to figure out my next path as a contributing member of WWE. I think I might crack the code, and I think we have something.” He also mentioned, “I’m very excited about the road ahead, and I’m crossing his fingers that it works.”

Cena had one of the most successful runs in the history of the sport. He won a record 14 WWE Championships and was a world champion 17 times in total. He also won the Royal Rumble twice and was the main star of WrestleMania six different times. While some fans used to boo him for winning too much, most people now respect him for everything he did for the business.

Outside of wrestling, Cena is a massive movie star. He has been in big hits like The Suicide Squad, F9, and Bumblebee. He even has his own show called Peacemaker and a rap album that came out way back in 2005. He is also famous for helping children, as he has granted over 650 wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This is the most in the history of that organization.

Because he is so busy with movies and brands like Neutrogena, he probably won’t be on TV every week. Many people think he will become a creative advisor or a global ambassador. This would let him use his experience to help younger wrestlers without having to show up for matches. He wants a role that is more integrated into how the company runs day to day.

It’s really awesome that John Cena is staying around to help the next generation. He knows exactly what it takes to be a superstar, and his advice is worth more than any championship belt. Most people who become famous in Hollywood just leave wrestling behind, so it shows a lot of character that he still wants to be part of the team. He has so much knowledge to share, and WWE would be smart to let him lead in whatever way he wants.
