Brie Larson (36) and Anya Taylor-Joy (29) Turn Heads in Curve-Hugging Glam at ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ Premiere Night
The premiere of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in late March brought major attention, not just for the film but also for the stars on the red carpet. Brie Larson and Anya Taylor-Joy stood out right away with very different fashion choices that still matched the world of the movie.
Larson, who is voicing Princess Rosalina in the new film, went for a bold and elegant look. She wore a long blue dress with large sleeves that gave her a strong and royal presence. Outside of the premiere, both actresses are staying busy. Larson recently spoke about video games while appearing on the Seen on the Screen podcast, saying it is time for us in cinema to recognize that we can take from video games. She is also working on a new horror film called Fail-Safe and may return to the Marvel world in future projects.
Taylor-Joy also has several projects coming up. She will appear in the series Lucky, which is set to release in July. She is also expected to return in the next Dune film, releasing December 18th.
The movie itself is a follow-up to the 2023 hit that made over $1.3 billion worldwide. The cast includes Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, and Jack Black. New voices like Donald Glover and Benny Safdie are also joining the story. The film is set to release on April 1, with Universal Pictures and Nintendo behind the project.
