Piers Morgan has talked to many scary and famous people during his long career in TV.

Even though he has interviewed people like Kanye West and Andrew Tate, he says the most dangerous person he ever met was a young woman named Erin Caffey. He met her while filming a show called Killer Women where he went into prisons to talk to murderers.

Morgan shared these details during an interview on Lorraine Kelly’s show and in a chat with GQ Magazine. He explained that Erin Caffey was only sixteen years old when she planned to have her entire family killed in 2008. She was angry because her parents told her she could not see her boyfriend anymore. She convinced her boyfriend and his friend to go to her home in Texas with guns and a sword.

The attack was terrible. Erin’s mother and her two young brothers were killed. Her father, Terry, was shot many times but he managed to crawl out of the house before it was burned down. When Morgan sat across from her in prison, he felt very uneasy. He said, As I sat there, looking at her, I just thought, ‘My God, you’re probably the most dangerous person I’ve ever been this close to in my life’.

Erin is now serving a very long prison sentence. During the interview, she seemed to regret what she did for such a small reason. She said, I was shocked, angry and hurt… When I look back on it now, this was all just stupid. I mean, for what? They weren’t beating me, they weren’t starving me to death. I had it made. Even though she caused so much pain, her father Terry forgave her. He even asked the courts not to give her the death penalty because he thought she was just a confused girl being controlled by a bad boyfriend.

Besides the scary meeting with Erin, Morgan also remembered a very wild interview with actor Robert Blake. This happened back in 2006 on CNN. Blake had been accused of killing his wife and he got very angry during the talk. He started yelling at Morgan and calling him names like Charlie Potatoes.

He even ripped off his clothes and his earpiece. It got so scary that guards with guns had to come into the room because they thought the actor might be dangerous. Morgan recalled the moment saying, It was so bad, the security guys… came onto the studio floor and were all standing there with guns.

In my opinion, it is fascinating but also very creepy that someone can look normal but be capable of such violence. Piers Morgan has made a career out of these intense moments, and it shows that some of the scariest people aren’t always the ones who look tough or mean. It is hard to imagine sitting in a room with someone who did those things to their own family.

What do you think about Piers Morgan interviewing criminals? Do you think these shows help us understand why people do bad things, or do they just give murderers too much attention? Let me know in the comments.
