Kelly McKee Zajfen recently introduced the world to the newest addition to her family, a milestone that carries profound emotional weight for the philanthropist. The Alliance of Moms co-founder, known for her deep-rooted friendship with Meghan Markle, shared the joyful news via Instagram on Thursday, March 26.

The infant arrived at a poetic moment, being born just twenty-four hours after Zajfen celebrated her own birthday. In her announcement, Zajfen expressed that this was the ultimate birthday present. She revealed the baby’s name as Jack Oliver Zajfen and provided a heartfelt explanation for the choice.

Jack was chosen to pay tribute to her grandfather, while Oliver serves as a legacy for her late son, George, ensuring the two boys now share the same middle name. She described her family of five as being completely enamored with the new arrival while navigating a whirlwind of emotions.

Expressing her gratitude for the support she has received, she noted, “This family of 5 is madly in love. Full of all the emotions and taking it all in. Thank you all for being apart of this journey and loving our family. I have felt carried and loved so very much, and that’s what Community is all about.” She also teased that her followers should prepare for an influx of baby-related updates.

This transition into a new chapter of motherhood comes four years after a devastating period for Zajfen and her husband, Julian. In 2022, they faced the unimaginable loss of their nine-year-old son, George, to a sudden illness involving viral meningitis. When she first shared her pregnancy news in late 2025, she described it as a slow process of letting light back into a fractured heart.

She reflected on the difficult journey toward this birth, emphasizing that love continued to manifest in subtle ways even during the darkest times. She wrote, “The path here wasn’t easy, and yet love kept showing up in the smallest signs, the quietest moments, the light that refused to fade.

This little soul is already so loved, a reminder that joy and grief can exist together… and that hope has a way of finding us again.” Her transparency about the intersection of mourning and celebration has resonated deeply with her advocacy community.

As of April, McKee Zajfen remains dedicated to her work with the Alliance of Moms, which is currently launching its spring initiative to support pregnant and parenting teens in foster care.

She also recently attended a high-profile charity gala in Beverly Hills, where the Duchess of Sussex presented her with an award for her community service. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have remained central figures in her support system.

Additionally, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to host their annual Invictus Games event later this year, continuing their global humanitarian efforts. Zajfen continues to advocate for open discussions on loss and the importance of allowing others to provide emotional support.
