The New York City premiere of Mother Mary brought a wave of high-fashion glamour to the Metrograph on Monday, April 13. Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, the film’s leading duo, dominated the red carpet alongside a star-studded group that included co-stars FKA twigs and Alba Baptista.
Director and writer David Lowery also joined the ensemble to celebrate the upcoming release of his latest A24 production. The story explores the complex tension that emerges when a legendary music sensation, played by Hathaway, crosses paths again with her former creative partner and stylist, Sam Anselm.

During the event, Hathaway turned heads in a sculptural white Lever Couture gown, while FKA twigs opted for an avant-garde design from Ashi Studio. Fans eager to see the drama won’t have to wait long, as the movie is scheduled for a limited theatrical run starting April 17, with a broader rollout following on April 24.
