Charlize Theron (50) Goes Shirtless at ‘Apex’ Red Carpet Premiere

Charlize Theron made a bold fashion statement at the New York City premiere of her upcoming Netflix film Apex, stepping onto the red carpet in a look that quickly drew attention.

Theron has previously described her partnership with the fashion house as a long creative collaboration. In a past statement shared through Dior, she said, “It’s exciting to start this chapter in a longstanding partnership with Dior. Over the past 20 years, it’s been an honor to collaborate creatively with the house as the face of J’adore.”

Apex is a survival thriller film coming to Netflix. It follows a rock climber who ends up being hunted in a remote wilderness and must use her skills to survive. Theron plays the lead role, with Taron Egerton and Eric Bana also part of the cast.

The film is directed by Baltasar Kormákur and written by Jeremy Robbins. Theron is also involved as a producer on the project alongside several other producers. Filming took place in Australia, and the movie has gone through a large post-production process involving multiple visual effects studios.

Netflix is set to release Apex on April 24.

The red carpet appearance highlights how Theron continues to mix film promotion with strong fashion moments, especially through her long-standing partnership with Dior.
