Netflix’s 2027 Korean Drama Slate Includes ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season 2, ‘Solo Leveling,’ and Nearly Two Dozen New Titles

Netflix has spent much of September laying out just how deep its Korean content pipeline runs heading into 2027. The reveal touches on horror, crime, romance, fantasy, and even a political thriller inspired by real history, with the streamer prepping a massive wave of South Korean content for the coming year.

Netflix is spanning zombie horror, chaebol succession battles, supernatural romance, and a long-awaited live action anime adaptation in the process. Below is the full rundown of titles confirmed so far for Netflix’s 2027 Korean drama calendar, organized one series at a time.

‘All of Us Are Dead’

The zombie thriller returns years after its record breaking debut, following survivor Nam On Jo as a fresh outbreak hits Seoul, this time without the friends who once had her back. The new season picks up with Nam On Jo now a university student struggling to move on from the trauma of Hyosan High, only to be trapped in another fight for survival when a new wave of infection hits the city. A January to February 2027 window has been attached to the season.

‘Kin and Sin’

Set on Jeju Island, the series follows three rival families, the Bus, the Yangs, and the Kos, as they fight to protect their lineage and legacy. The Bus control pig farming and horse racing on the island, and the drama comes from director Cho Jeong Yeol, who previously wrote and directed Start Up and directed Vigilante. A March 2027 release has been reported, though Netflix has not confirmed an exact date.

‘Love Bait’

This psychological romance thriller follows Kwon Chae U, a conglomerate heir who has lived his life without understanding human emotion, and So Yi Yeon, an arborist who sees love as nothing more than an illusion. As their lives intertwine, the series asks whether a man who cannot feel love and a woman who no longer believes in it can find their way to each other. It is slated for a May 2027 release.

‘The Dealer’

The story centers on a newly opened casino called Oceanland, where declining revenues push management to plan the largest Texas Hold’em tournament in the venue’s history. The legal drama follows Min Hwa Yeong, chief prosecutor of a special investigation division whose mother’s suspicious death drove her to pursue justice. Just as she closes in on a sprawling network of corruption, her own husband becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, upending everything she has built.

‘Love O’Clock’

The body swap romantic comedy imagines waking up in someone else’s body for one random hour every day, putting a fresh spin on a familiar genre. Shin Hae Sun plays a headstrong reality TV producer, while Na In Woo plays a disciplined former tennis player, and the pair are forced to literally step into each other’s shoes for sixty minutes each day.

‘Buy King’

This drama dives into the hidden succession wars of a Korean chaebol family fighting to claim a multi billion dollar throne. The series centers on the fierce struggles among family members as they jockey for control of the business empire, with the family’s internal politics driving most of the tension.

‘Grand Galaxy Hotel’

The mystery fantasy series comes from the Hong Sisters and centers on a hotel that only opens at night to provide top class service and console the souls of the dead. A new owner named Eun Ha arrives after the previous owner’s sudden disappearance, and he meets the hotel’s only human employee, a manager who has a knack for befriending ghosts. The creative team previously worked together on the hit series Hotel del Luna.

‘Men of the Harem’

This one flips the historical romance genre on its head, with Bae Suzy’s character choosing five suitors to secure her sovereignty rather than settling on one man. The premise puts a fantasy spin on palace politics, with the lead navigating both a murder mystery and the balance of power inside her own household.

‘Nightmare’

This sci-fi crime thriller stars Kim Nam Gil and Lee You Mi as a pair of detectives working in a world where artificial intelligence has infiltrated human dreams and punishes criminals with inescapable nightmares. The series is set in a society where AI technology can infiltrate dreams and design personalized nightmares for offenders instead of imprisoning them. It will air simultaneously on Netflix and South Korean broadcaster SBS.

‘Soul’

Little has been revealed about this action historical romance, and despite months of anticipation no official synopsis or logline has been unveiled for the series. The cast includes Kang Dong Won, Kim Go Eun, and Kim Shin Rock, which has kept fan interest high even without plot details.

‘Beauty in the Beast’

This is Netflix’s Korean retelling of the fairytale Beauty and the Beast, centered on Ha Min Su, a freshman werewolf torn between exposing her identity and her feelings for her senior. ‘Detective Park Mi Ok’

‘Materesa’

This crime thriller centers on a cold blooded criminal psychologist who investigates unsolved murder cases alongside an assistant with a hidden secret and a longtime friend working as a prosecutor. As she interrogates suspects to uncover long buried truths, she finds herself swept into unexpected emotional territory with the people closest to her.

‘The Shooter’

A grandmother’s world falls apart after her grandson ends up in a coma at the hands of a mob that walks free despite the evidence against them. Two mysterious men offer to train her for revenge, and she reluctantly agrees to hunt down her grandson’s assailants one by one.

‘Outback’

A man who makes imitation character stickers for a living is constantly overshadowed at home by his highly competent judge wife, until he creates a counterfeit bill so convincing it pulls him into a world he never imagined. The premise blends dark comedy with a heist adjacent storyline.

‘Solo Leveling’

Netflix’s live action adaptation stars Byeon Woo Seok as Sung Jin Woo, an E rank hunter who puts his life on the line in dungeons regardless of how weak the monsters inside might be. The web novel and webtoon have amassed a staggering 14.3 billion cumulative views worldwide, and its anime adaptation swept nine categories at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
