Paris Fashion Week saved one of its starriest nights for last. On October 6, Louis Vuitton closed out the season with its Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show at the Cour Carrée of the Louvre, and Emma Stone and Zendaya were among the house ambassadors leading the arrivals.

The 2 stars have become fixtures at Nicolas Ghesquière’s shows. Last year, both attended the label’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, with Zendaya in a metallic silver coat dress and Stone in a cream knit strapless dress with a matching shrug.

This time, though, it was a quick moment between the pair that fans couldn’t stop replaying. A short clip from ELLE Paris shows the actresses greeting each other at the show and breaking into wide smiles, and an Emma Stone fan account’s post of the video quickly made the rounds.

Zendaya’s outfit had a familiar feel. She wore Ghesquière’s ruffled ivory lace bolero, a piece from her recent press tour for ‘The Odyssey’, but this time she styled it with a white vest and low-rise blue jeans.

The more relaxed approach came from Zendaya and her longtime stylist Law Roach, who joined her at the show. She also showed off the cropped pixie cut she debuted at the Emmy Awards in September.

Fans noticed the repeat right away, and many praised the fresh styling. Zendaya officially became a Louis Vuitton house ambassador in 2023. Stone chose a single bright color for the night. The two-time Oscar winner wore a plunging cobalt blue Louis Vuitton blazer with a matching mini, black pointed-toe pumps, and a small black leather shoulder bag on a gold chain.

The look stood out against Zendaya’s soft ivory layers in the viral clip. Stone has been a face of the French house for years, and her monochrome blazer fit the evening’s sleek, futuristic mood. The pair were far from the only famous faces there. French first lady Brigitte Macron attended, along with fellow ambassadors Saoirse Ronan and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

The guest list also included Chloë Grace Moretz, Chloë Sevigny, Wunmi Mosaku, Bella Maclean, Jaden Smith, Pharrell Williams and Stray Kids’ Felix. Yoonchae Jeung and Daniela Avanzini of Katseye made their Louis Vuitton debuts that night. The Haim sisters were excited by the set design too. “That’s my ride,” Este Haim exclaimed as she arrived with Danielle and Alana, according to WWD.

The collection itself carried a retro-futuristic theme, though Ghesquière used a gentler touch than in recent seasons. Butter yellow and powder blue appeared throughout, and the opening looks were anchored by heavy black lace-up brogues.

Knee-length hemlines showed up on slips, skirts, and dresses, a silhouette seen again and again across the Spring/Summer 2027 shows. Long silks and gauzy layers flowed down the body, sometimes trailing along the ground. The show ended with black-and-white looks, including long, loose tailoring and dresses layered over trousers. It made for a polished finish to a busy fashion month.

The Paris appearance comes during a big stretch for Zendaya, whose year has included ‘Spider-Man’, ‘Dune’ and ‘The Odyssey’. Stone, known for ‘La La Land’, ‘Poor Things’, ‘The Favourite’ and ‘Easy A’, has remained one of the label’s most consistent ambassadors.

Moments like this one are part of what makes Louis Vuitton’s front row such a talking point each season. Seeing 2 of its biggest ambassadors share a laugh before the show only added to the buzz.
