‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ Episode 4 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch and Preview

Fans following the return of the Avatar franchise now have a clear schedule for what comes next. The fourth episode of ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ arrives on Paramount+ on Friday, October 16, as part of a weekly batch rollout. The new series is the first original show the franchise has produced in more than a decade.

The first three episodes land on October 9, with the next group following on Fridays after that. That means the Avatar Seven Havens episode four release date sits one week after the opening trio, and viewers who watch on day one will not wait long for more.

Avatar Seven Havens Episode Release Date

Paramount+ is releasing the first book in four batches throughout October. Episodes one through three arrive on October 9, episodes four through six on October 16, episodes seven through nine on October 23, and episodes ten through thirteen on October 30.

The final batch includes four episodes instead of three, which closes out the first book. The fourth episode is therefore the opening entry of the second drop, and it will not be available as a standalone release on a separate day.

The series is confirmed at twenty six episodes in total across two books, with thirteen episodes in the first book. Release windows and dates for the second book have not been revealed yet.

Release Time for the Fourth Episode

Exact timing is the least settled part of the schedule. One schedule guide notes that the Paramount+ press release does not print a clock time for the premiere. The same guide points to a listing that places the premiere at 3:01 a.m. ET.

Since the later batches follow the same Friday pattern, viewers can reasonably watch for the October 16 drop at around the same hour. That is an inference from the weekly structure and not a confirmed statement from Paramount+. Anyone planning to watch right away should check the app on the morning of the release.

Viewers in the Netherlands will see the series later, since SkyShowtime has confirmed an October 17 start there. No official reason has been given for the later date.

Where to Watch Avatar Seven Havens

‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ streams exclusively on Paramount+, and as a Paramount+ original it requires access to the service. The series is released globally on that platform, and episodes are half hour installments.

The show is produced by Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios. It comes from original Avatar creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. It is a 2D animated series that keeps the hand drawn look associated with the original show.

The release also arrives after a turbulent stretch for the franchise. A leak that spread the sequel film online months before its release dampened some of the excitement around the brand. The straightforward Paramount+ rollout gives the new series a more controlled debut.

What to Expect in the Episode Preview

The fourth chapter is titled “The Faceless,” and the fifth and sixth chapters are titled “The One Left Behind” and “Night of the Afflicted.” None of the material reviewed offers an official synopsis for the fourth episode itself. Directing and writing credits for the episode are still listed as to be announced on one reference page.

What can be said is where the story stands going into that chapter. The official logline follows a young Earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar after Korra, in a world shattered by a cataclysm where the title marks her as humanity’s destroyer and not its savior. She and her twin must uncover their origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse.

The twins are named Pavi and Nisha. The story is set 225 years after the events of ‘The Legend of Korra’. Jeremy Zuckerman is composing original music, and Ethan Spaulding, who worked on both earlier shows, is an executive producer.

Readers who have followed Pavi and Nisha since the opening three episodes can share in the comments what they expect a chapter called “The Faceless” to mean for the twins and the Seven Havens they are trying to save.
