Lady Gaga (40) Shares Her ‘Home Glam’ Makeup Routine in Relaxed New Instagram Video

On Wednesday, October 7, Gaga added another chapter to the series. She shared a relaxed new video on Instagram walking fans through her at-home beauty routine, simply captioning it “home glam” on Instagram.
The video begins with Gaga completely makeup-free, her signature blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. She first applies a face oil, followed by what appears to be a face cream, which she playfully refers to as her “secret sauce.”
From there, she builds light layers of Haus Labs products. She applies foundation, contour, and bronzer, extending the bronzer down to her neck, chest, and collarbones before adding a second shade for extra warmth.
Next come concealer and lip liner. For the final step, she reaches for a cream blush, skipping the brush and blending it into her skin with her fingers. True to form, Gaga turned even a casual routine into a mini fashion moment. She starts the video in a soft pink sweater before switching into a blue tank top with white trim and matching shorts.
By the end, she slips into a cozy brown cable-knit sweater and black sunglasses. She signs off by flashing a peace sign to the camera, adding a playful finish. The calm mood is underscored by a Chopin nocturne playing in the background, performed by Raqibul Hasan RaNe. The soft music gives the clip a peaceful, intimate feel.
The video quickly drew praise in the comments. Many fans focused on Gaga’s fresh complexion, with one praising what they called her second-skin Haus Labs glow. Others appreciated seeing such a relaxed, unfiltered side of the star. For many, the routine felt more like a casual moment with a friend than a polished beauty campaign.
The tutorial arrives during an eventful stretch for Haus Labs. Earlier this month, beauty influencer Golloria criticized the brand for a lack of diverse shades in an upcoming product and later said the company asked her to remove her review.
Gaga responded publicly, apologizing for the shade range not being inclusive enough. She also acknowledged that the brand should not have used an embargo as a reason to ask for the video’s removal.
Gaga’s tutorials have become a way for her to connect directly with fans while showcasing her brand. Unlike glossy ad campaigns, these videos let followers see exactly how she builds a natural, everyday look.
