‘VisionQuest’ Release Date, Time, Where to Watch and Preview

Share:

The wait for the ‘VisionQuest’ release date is nearly over. The series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, October 14. It serves as the final installment in a trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision’ and continued with ‘Agatha All Along’.

Paul Bettany returns as Vision, and Terry Matalas serves as showrunner. Here is what has been confirmed about the premiere, the timing of each episode, where to stream the show and what the story is expected to explore.

‘VisionQuest’ Release Date on Disney+

Marvel Television announced the premiere date during Disney’s 2026 Upfronts presentation in New York City. A trailer followed at the D23 event on August 14, where the date was highlighted again. Taken together, the rollout has been steady rather than sudden.

Disney+ has revealed that the premiere will deliver the first two of eight episodes. TechRadar’s schedule lists the first two episodes on October 14, with the remaining installments arriving on Wednesdays through November 25. That places the finale in late November.

Reports differ on how the rest of the season will be paced. Nerdist reports that viewers will receive two episodes each week until the penultimate episode and finale, which would air one at a time. TechRadar lists one episode per week, and notes that a fansite claims episodes three and four will land on the same date, which Marvel has not officially commented on.

‘VisionQuest’ Release Time for New Episodes

New episodes are reported to premiere at 6PM PT and 9PM ET each week. That evening slot means American viewers can watch as soon as an episode drops or wait until they have time to sit down with it.

The launch is worldwide, so viewers in North and South America will not be able to watch before everyone else. That is a notable detail for a franchise whose releases have sometimes been staggered by region.

Time zones will still shape the experience for some audiences. One Disney+ news outlet expects a primetime release, which would likely push international audiences to October 15. Another report says viewers in the UAE can stream on the same day as the global release. Checking your local listing on Disney+ is the safest approach.

Where to Watch ‘VisionQuest’

The series launches exclusively on Disney+. The two episode premiere will stream only on that platform, with no theatrical or alternate streaming window mentioned.

For anyone planning a refresher, the story picks up with context from earlier shows. The series takes place five years after the events of ‘WandaVision’. Viewers who want the full picture may want to revisit ‘WandaVision’ and ‘Agatha All Along’ beforehand.

TechRadar also points readers to a guide for watching the Marvel movies in order, for anyone planning a Vision focused rewatch before the premiere. That route helps newer viewers who have not followed every chapter of the franchise.

‘VisionQuest’ Preview and What to Expect

The story follows White Vision, who has been living in hiding since his resurrection and the restoration of his memories at the end of ‘WandaVision’. Although his data has been restored, he lacks the emotional connection to those memories, which leaves him lost.

To understand who he is, Vision retreats inward and communicates with AI personas embedded in his programming. Matalas has described the series as a deep dive into intergenerational trauma between fathers and sons, set largely in a reality warping mansion inside Vision’s mind. That framing suggests a quieter, more psychological story than a typical superhero outing.

James Spader returns as Ultron, reprising the role he first played in 2015. The cast also includes Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, James D’Arcy, Orla Brady, Emily Hampshire and Ruaridh Mollica. The show was originally conceived as a one season miniseries.

Mollica plays Thomas Shepherd, an 18 year old orphan and small time thief who is the reincarnated soul of Vision and Wanda’s son, Tommy Maximoff. Fans are also speculating about whether Wanda herself will appear. With Vision facing Ultron inside his own mind while Tommy’s reincarnated soul searches for family, which of those two storylines are you most eager to see unfold when the first two episodes arrive?
