‘Scream’ Star Courteney Cox (62) Soaks up the Hawaiian Sun Ahead of a Star-Studded Wedding
Courteney Cox has been enjoying a busy stretch of getaways and celebrations this fall, and her latest trip took her to the islands of Hawaii. The ‘Friends’ and ‘Cougar Town’ star traveled there to celebrate the wedding of her close friend, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, to Geoff Ogunlesi.
The nuptials drew a high-profile guest list. Alongside Cox, stars including Kate Hudson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire were among those in attendance for the celebration.
Before the festivities got underway, the 62-year-old actress carved out time for a classic Hawaiian beach day. Photos from the outing, which have now been shared by Page Six and other outlets, show Cox enjoying a swim in the ocean on October 10 near the Four Seasons Resort Lanai.
She wore a simple black bikini and added some polish with stacked gold necklaces and gold earrings. Her dark hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail as she waded through the waves.

The images capture her standing knee-deep in the water before heading back to shore, where she wrapped a towel around herself to dry off. Reports noted she was also smiling as she relaxed on the sand, and that she hit the beach alongside Kate Hudson ahead of the ceremony.
Later that day, Cox swapped her swimwear for something more formal. She embraced a ’90s-inspired silhouette for the wedding, wearing a black boatneck dress with a drop waist and midi-length cut.
It was a fitting nod to the decade that made her a household name. Her look leaned elegant and understated, matching the polished-but-relaxed mood of the island celebration.
Cox has long been open about her approach to staying healthy. She reportedly keeps fit through interval training, tennis and Pilates classes, a mix that helps her stay energized between projects and travel.

The Hawaii trip caps off an active few months for the actress. She was previously spotted on a sun-soaked yacht trip in Mallorca with her longtime friend and former ‘Friends’ co-star Jennifer Aniston.
About a month before the Hawaii getaway, Cox also made a rare public appearance with her daughter, Coco Arquette. Between the yacht, the beach, and the wedding, it has been a full calendar of personal milestones and reunions.
Professionally, 2026 has been just as eventful. Cox returned as reporter Gale Weathers in ‘Scream 7’, directed by Kevin Williamson, which hit theaters on February 27 and became the franchise’s highest-grossing film.
Remarkably, aside from the Ghostface voice actor, she is the only performer to have appeared in every installment of the slasher series. ‘Scream 8’ is already in development, with a team of writers hired back in April.
She is also making moves behind the camera. Her latest directing project, ‘Evil Genius’, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and when asked by Deadline whether she would like to direct a future ‘Scream’ film, she expressed interest in taking on the challenge.
