‘Dune: Part Three’ Unveils Haunting New Character Posters for Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Anya Taylor-Joy and Robert Pattinson
The countdown to the end of Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi saga is officially on. ‘Dune: Part Three’, billed as the epic conclusion to the trilogy, adapts Frank Herbert’s ‘Dune Messiah’ and picks up 17 years after the events of ‘Part Two’, with Paul Atreides now ruling the Imperium.
Warner Bros. and Legendary first introduced the trilogy’s cast back in March, releasing 9 character posters alongside the first teaser trailer. That initial rollout confirmed Robert Pattinson as the Face Dancer Scytale and revealed Isaach De Bankolé as the Fremen Farok, while the first 2 films have already grossed more than $1 billion combined worldwide.
Now the studio has raised the emotional stakes with a fresh batch of artwork. Several outlets shared that new posters have arrived for Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Anya Taylor-Joy and Pattinson, each carrying the tagline “The Epic Conclusion” along with the December 18 date and IMAX branding.
The images are strikingly intimate and intense. Zendaya’s Chani appears in a tight close-up with her eyes closed as she leans into an embrace, a quietly devastating image that hints at the heartbreak awaiting her character.
Taylor-Joy’s Alia offers a stark contrast. Her poster is a blood-spattered close-up of the character screaming at something off-screen, signaling just how wild her role in the finale may become.

The posters spotlight some of the film’s most intriguing players. Momoa returns as Hayt, a ghola created in the image of Duncan Idaho, the Atreides swordmaster who died in the first film.
Pattinson makes his franchise debut as Scytale, the film’s shape-shifting antagonist. Taylor-Joy, meanwhile, steps into a far bigger role as Paul’s younger sister Alia after her brief appearance in ‘Part Two’, with the actress describing the character as carrying an intense blessing and curse.

The wider cast includes Timothée Chalamet as Paul, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, and Charlotte Rampling. Josh Brolin is also part of the ensemble.
The new character art caps off a busy stretch for the film’s promotional campaign. Just days ago, Warner Bros. released premium format posters for IMAX, Dolby Cinema and 4DX, highlighting the sheer scale of Arrakis and its massive sandworms.

The film’s final trailer is also on the way, building anticipation as release day approaches. Official promotion has leaned into the emotional weight of the story, with recent marketing asking audiences to experience the epic conclusion only in theaters and IMAX.
‘Dune: Part Three’ arrives in U.S. theaters on December 18, sharing its opening date with Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. The head-to-head matchup, nicknamed “Dunesday” by fans, has become one of the most anticipated box office showdowns of the year.

Villeneuve’s film already appears to be in strong shape. Its runtime is listed at 2 hours and 30 minutes, making it the shortest entry in the trilogy, and early presales have broken records at venues like London’s BFI IMAX.
With posters this haunting, it’s clear the finale will not be a lighthearted ride. If the artwork is any indication, audiences should prepare for an emotional, brutal, and unforgettable farewell to Arrakis.
