The marketing machine for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is running at full speed. With the Russo brothers’ multiverse crossover arriving in theaters on December 18, Marvel and its partners have been finding increasingly creative ways to put Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in front of fans.

Doom has been the face of the campaign since Downey’s casting was revealed in July 2024. Recent promotions have included Williams F1 suiting up its drivers as Avengers at the U.S. Grand Prix, a Disney synergy moment that saw a ‘Doomsday’ billboard destroyed on ABC’s ‘9-1-1’, and a full-scale replica of Doom’s throne installed in a Philippine mall for fans to sit on.

Now a fast-food chain appears ready to join the fight. As MCU Film News shared, Jack in the Box is teasing a new ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ collaboration, and its approach is delightfully on brand.

In a new social media post, the chain’s mascot Jack sits on a throne, wearing his signature business suit beneath a Doctor Doom-inspired green cape and hood. The scene is bathed in green light, with towering stained glass windows and a grand staircase that mirror the imposing throne room seen throughout the film’s marketing.

Jack taps his fingers on a green box that appears to have a rectangular door or vault on one side. The accompanying caption plays on the word “assembling,” an unmistakable nod to the Avengers, while warning fans that something is coming.

The teaser leans heavily on imagery fans already associate with the film. Marvel’s promotional art has repeatedly shown Doom seated on a towering throne at the top of a wide staircase, often flanked by glowing light and soaked in green.

A recent 100-day countdown teaser also put Doom’s throne front and center, giving fans an extended look at the setting. Jack in the Box’s playful parody captures that same ominous mood, with a cheeky fast-food twist.

So far, Jack in the Box hasn’t revealed what the collaboration will include. The mysterious green box has fans speculating about possible themed menu items, special packaging, or collectibles.

Until the chain shares more details, the only clue is the vault-like box resting beside Jack on the throne. Whatever is locked inside, it seems designed to keep fans guessing until the official reveal.

Jack in the Box would join a growing list of brands building excitement for the film. Cinemark has already revealed a collector’s popcorn bucket sculpted as Doom’s hooded metal mask with glowing green eyes, along with a matching drink cup showing the villain on his stone throne.

There’s also a special RealD 3D fan event on December 20, where guests will receive collectible 3D glasses featuring one of 5 mystery logos representing the Avengers, Black Panther, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four or Doom himself.

The flood of promotions reflects just how big Marvel expects ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ to be. The film brings together the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the original X-Men in a story billed as one of the most ambitious crossovers in MCU history.

Marvel has also continued releasing new teasers, including a recent spot built around the rallying cry “Stand together.” With presales already breaking records in multiple markets, partners like Jack in the Box are clearly eager to ride the wave of excitement. For now, fans will have to wait to see what Jack is hiding inside that box. If the teaser is any indication, it could be a deliciously villainous addition to the film’s rollout.

What do you think Jack in the Box is planning for its Avengers: Doomsday collaboration?
