Burger King Teases a Villainous ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Menu Featuring a Doomsday Whopper and Magneto Burger
Marvel’s next big team-up is reaching fast food counters. As ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ approaches its December 18 release, brands around the world are lining up their own tie-ins, and Burger King is the latest to join in.
The film has already led to a long list of food and drink partnerships. Dunkin’ is rolling out a themed menu with items like the Doomsday Donut and a Doctor Doom MUNCHKINS tin, while Jack in the Box is introducing a Doomsday Dipping Box with collectible mystery magnets. Oreo, M&M’s and Pop-Secret have also joined the campaign.
Burger King has now started teasing a collaboration of its own. A short teaser shared online shows a dark, green-tinted space that looks like a film set, where a Burger King employee in an apron sets out a row of director’s chairs.
Each chair carries the name of a themed menu item. The clip reveals a Doomsday Whopper and a Magneto Crunchy Chicken Burger, both printed in bold lettering across the black chair backs.

Other chairs point to Shuri Vibranium Fries, Thor Thunder Nuggets, and a drink called Fantastic Fizz. The teaser ends on a chair showing the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ logo next to Burger King’s, with green lightning and a Burger King crown in the background.
According to French Disney news site Disneyphile, the campaign has so far been announced only for India. The outlet noted that the polished style of the spot could hint at a wider rollout, though no other markets have been confirmed.

Details are still limited. Burger King has not revealed prices, ingredients, or exact release dates, and the voiceover simply promises that the menu is coming soon to a Burger King near you.
The names combine classic Burger King recipes with Marvel characters. With the Doomsday Whopper leading the lineup, Doctor Doom is clearly the star, much like he has been across the rest of the movie’s marketing.
Doom’s face has become one of the most recognizable images of the season. Dunkin’ is offering a Doom’s Orders Energy drink and a Doom Cloud Latte, Oreo released its Stuf of Doom cookies with color-changing creme and a mask embossed on each cookie, and M&M’s put its yellow character in Doom’s armor for a Walmart-exclusive pack.

Naming a chicken burger after Magneto also fits the film’s mix of heroes and mutants. Other campaigns have spotlighted characters like Black Panther, Gambit, Mystique, The Thing and Thor, showing just how wide the movie’s multiverse lineup reaches.
Burger King’s US rivals have mostly announced their dates already. Dunkin’s menu is set to launch November 4 for a limited time at participating restaurants, and Jack in the Box will follow on November 5. Burger King’s teaser does not give a launch window yet. The timing of other partners suggests the push will build through November ahead of the film’s debut.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ opens on December 18, the same day as Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune: Part Three’. Several international markets will get the Marvel film a couple of days earlier, and the studio has kept the hype going with new posters, collectibles, and themed theater merchandise.
For now, fans in India can look forward to getting a taste of the multiverse, while the rest of the world waits to see whether the Doomsday Whopper will travel. If it does, Doom may end up conquering drive-thrus well beyond the big screen.
