Heidi Klum’s Halloween Costume May Have Accidentally Leaked Major Villain Secrets for ‘The Batman: Part II’
Few Halloween costumes get as much attention as Heidi Klum’s. The model and TV host is famous for elaborate transformations every year, and this time she went with a giant severed hand, created by makeup artist Mike Marino and his team.
Marino is also a familiar name to DC fans. He worked on Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’, where his team helped turn Colin Farrell into the Penguin, and SlashFilm reported that he’s returning for the sequel.
That connection is now drawing a lot of attention. A behind-the-scenes look at the making of Klum’s costume appears to show props from ‘The Batman: Part II’ sitting on the shelves of the makeup shop, and fans have been studying them closely ever since.
Images shared by Culture Crave, via TheBatmanSagaNW, show a blue hand mold being worked on in a workshop filled with face casts and labeled boxes. Among them is a cast of Brian Tyree Henry’s face with a disfigured lip, along with a box labeled “Owl 3.”
According to Batman News, other items appear to include a mold labeled “Zsasz” and another labeled “Koch.” Fans quickly pieced together what those labels could mean for the sequel’s story.

The Henry face cast is the biggest talking point. Batman News described it as a sculpt with the classic Two-Face mouth from the comics and animated series, which suggests Henry could be playing Harvey Dent.
That would line up with a report from scooper Jeff Sneider in June, which claimed Henry was playing Dent while Sebastian Stan would play Victor Zsasz, a serial killer who carves a tally of his victims into his skin. Before that, Stan had been widely expected to play Harvey Dent, with Scarlett Johansson as his wife Gilda and Charles Dance as his father.

The “Zsasz” label appears to support that rumor. The “Koch” label, meanwhile, suggests that Sebastian Koch’s undisclosed character may wear a mask or special makeup. The “Owl” label may be the most exciting clue for longtime readers. It likely points to the Court of Owls, a secret society created by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo that has secretly controlled Gotham for centuries.

The group’s members wear owl-themed masks and use near-immortal assassins called Talons. SlashFilm noted that Robert Pattinson and many fans have pushed for the Court as a villain, since the group fits the film’s themes of institutional corruption. None of this has been confirmed. Warner Bros. hasn’t commented, and makeup props alone can’t confirm character roles or plot details.
SlashFilm stressed that the connection between Klum’s makeup team and the film comes from fan detective work. The outlet described the Sneider report as looking more likely in light of the leak, but still unconfirmed.

‘The Batman: Part II’ began principal photography in June, mainly at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, with location work across England and Scotland. Steven Soderbergh joined in October to direct the remaining weeks of filming after Reeves stepped away from physical production. Pattinson returns as Bruce Wayne alongside Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Farrell. The film is set to open in theaters and IMAX on February 18, 2028.
