The marketing push for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has spread well beyond movie theaters. With Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom at the center of the campaign, brands from fast-food chains to WWE are lining up to cash in on Marvel’s next big team-up, which opens in theaters on December 18.

KFC is one of the biggest partners so far. The chain has announced a global collaboration with Marvel Studios built around Doom, complete with a themed menu, limited-edition packaging, and a new promo video that gives fans more to study than they may have expected.

The KFC spot opens with Doctor Doom looking over a ruined New York City after a battle with the Avengers. As Avengers Updates highlighted, the ad also offers a new look at what fans believe are the New Avengers Tower, the Fantastic Four’s ship, and a Sentinel head.

The tower bears the Avengers “A” and glows green, while a battered silver-blue ship sits in the wreckage. A Sentinel head also appears in the skyline, but these identifications come from fan observations rather than official confirmation from Marvel.

The Easter eggs line up with the film’s huge scope. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ brings together the Avengers, the Wakandans, the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers and the X-Men to take on Doom.

A Sentinel would be a notable detail, since the giant robots are closely tied to X-Men lore. Spotting what appears to be the Fantastic Four’s ship among the debris also hints at how rough the battle with Doom could get.

The ad itself leans into humor. Every restaurant in sight is flattened except one KFC, and the voiceover jokes that KFC has reached an agreement with Doom, and all it took was a burger worthy of his name.

The campaign video runs in 15- and 30-second formats. SuperHeroHype also reported on a longer one-minute version tied to KFC UK and Ireland. The menu runs in select markets from November 9 through January 2027, across more than 100 countries, but it won’t be available in the US, India, or China.

The star item is the Doom Burger, with Doom Cola sauce and Smoky Green Mayo on a black sesame bun. Other items include Doom Dripped Wings, a Doom Bucket, Doom Loaded Fries, a Doom Shake and the boba-filled Doom Supreme Fizz. There’s also Doom Dust, a green seasoning with smoky charred lime and chili, plus Masked Mozza Melts.

Fans can also collect the Colonel Sanders Cosplay Collection, 5 figurines showing the Colonel dressed as ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ characters. They come with qualifying purchases in select regions while supplies last.

KFC is billing the tie-in as its largest global collaboration yet. “This is KFC’s most expansive joint venture to date,” Global CEO Scott Mezvinsky said in KFC’s announcement, adding that the goal is to welcome guests into an extension of the MCU.

Holly Frank, Disney’s VP of Global Marketing Partnerships and Promotions, said the campaign gives fans a unique way to connect with the film ahead of its release. KFC previously partnered with DC Studios on ‘Supergirl’ promotions, including a Krypto bucket.

KFC isn’t alone in the Doom business. Jack in the Box is launching a Doomsday Dipping Box on November 5, Burger King India has teased its own collaboration, and WWE has an ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ edition of Worlds Collide.

The Russo brothers direct the film, which was originally dated for May 2026. With every tie-in revealing a little more, even a fried chicken commercial has become another source of clues ahead of the premiere.
