The next chapter of ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ is scheduled for Friday, November 13, when the seventh episode of the third season arrives. The season began on October 2, with Crunchyroll streaming each installment for international viewers. That places the series near the midpoint of its first cour, a natural moment to check the schedule before the story moves forward.

This guide covers the release date, time, streaming options and what is known about the story ahead. Episode listings so far show only a placeholder for the title of the next installment, so official preview details remain limited. The sections below separate what has been confirmed from what is still open.

‘The Apothecary Diaries’ Release Date for the Seventh Episode

TVmaze lists the airdate as November 13. Final Weapon’s schedule places it in the same slot, followed by the eighth episode on November 20. New episodes of the season arrive on Fridays.

The date follows a weekly rhythm. GamesRadar reported that new episodes would release every Friday throughout the fall season, with unscheduled breaks the only exception. FandomWire noted that its later dates assume twelve episodes in the first cour arriving without a pause.

The season is set to run for 24 episodes across two cours. The first cour is scheduled to wrap on December 18, with the second half arriving in April 2027. That leaves roughly a month and a half of weekly releases after this installment.

Release Time for the Seventh Episode Around the World

The third episode arrived in Japan on a Friday at about 11 pm JST, and international viewers received it the same day. CBR’s listing for the sixth episode converted that slot to 8 am PT, 10 am CT, 11 am EDT and 4 pm BST. Viewers in other regions can adjust from the Japan broadcast time.

Final Weapon lists the weekly Crunchyroll release at 8 am PT and 11 am ET. CBR added that the end of daylight saving time in the United States should not change the schedule for US viewers, though a small delay on Crunchyroll can occur. The same report cautioned that anime streaming schedules are known to change without warning.

Not every outlet agrees on the hour. FandomWire lists the US slot as 10 am EST and 7 am PST. That is an hour earlier than other listings, so confirming the exact time in the Crunchyroll app on release day is a sensible step. The Review Geek expected the third episode to run about 23 minutes, which is typical for a series of this kind.

Where to Watch ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ Outside Japan

GamesRadar reported that the series streams exclusively on Crunchyroll. In Japan, it airs on NTV. Earlier seasons are also available on Crunchyroll, which makes catching up straightforward for newcomers.

Final Weapon reports that episodes arrive with English subtitles and an English dub. Dub timing has been reported less consistently. ComicBasics noted that the English dub date for the new season had not been announced when it published, with no promise of a same day release. Viewers who prefer the dub should check the platform directly.

The franchise is also expanding beyond television. An animated film titled ‘The Late Lady’s Treasure’ is scheduled to premiere in Japan on December 11. ComicBook noted that international release plans had not been confirmed at the time of its report. For now, the weekly Crunchyroll releases are the main way for international viewers to follow Maomao’s story.

What a Preview of the Seventh Episode Can Tell Us So Far

No official title or synopsis for the seventh episode appears in the listings reviewed. Listings on epguides and TVmaze show only a placeholder. Anime.digital labels it Episode 55, continuing the numbering from earlier seasons.

What can be traced is the groundwork laid by the recent episodes. CBR described the sixth episode, ‘The Paper Village’, as sending Maomao with Jinshi, Guen and Basen to Guen’s home village, which promises insight into the physician’s history. The same report pointed to an earlier lesson in which Chou-u and Zulin returned with a poisonous plant that closely resembles the herb Maomao had requested.

Another thread belongs to the White Lady. CBR said the fifth episode put Maomao on stage, where she later explained how each trick relied on science, while a string of merchant poisonings followed the performer’s sudden disappearance. FandomWire noted that the White Lady is gone and her sponsors remain unidentified, which leaves room for a larger mystery.

The official premise adds more to watch. It points to rumors of an immortal maiden and an approaching famine, alongside Jinshi’s new responsibilities as Imperial Brother. Which of those threads do you think the seventh episode of ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ will pick up first, the lingering White Lady mystery or whatever Maomao uncovers after her journey to Guen’s paper village?
