Prime Video has quietly put together a deep bench of rugged action heroes, and right now 3 of its biggest leads are Chris Pratt, John Krasinski and Alan Ritchson. Each of them anchors a franchise built on tough-guy thrills, and each has had a big year on the streamer.

Pratt’s run has been especially strong lately. All 8 episodes of ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2 premiered on October 21, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, and soon after, Variety reported that Pratt will again play Reece in ‘Savage Son’, based on Jack Carr’s third novel in the book series.

With that kind of momentum, Pratt chose to share the spotlight. The actor posted an AI-generated image of himself, Krasinski and Ritchson on Instagram, with the 3 stars in character as James Reece, Jack Ryan and Jack Reacher. In the caption, he dubbed them “The JRs,” joked that they had officially entered the Prime Universe, and admitted the picture came from asking AI to put 3 action guys in one room, adding that he has looked worse.

Anyone who has spent time online will recognize the setup right away. Pratt’s post shows the 3 actors in costume as their characters, striking the pose of the famous Spider-Man pointing meme. They stand in the meme’s trademark triangle, each pointing a finger at the other two.

The joke landed, and the meme wasn’t the whole point. Pratt pointed to the attention ‘The Terminal List’ has received and said he wanted to turn that spotlight toward his co-stars on the platform, then closed the caption by urging followers to watch ‘Jack Ryan’ or ‘Reacher’ if they hadn’t already.

Ritchson didn’t just like the post, as the screenshot shows. He jumped into the comments right away, joking that this was the first time AI hadn’t made him look like the love child of John Cena and Matt Damon. Three of Prime Video’s biggest action leads ended up in the same frame, and the internet clearly enjoyed the mashup.

Pratt’s praise isn’t just politeness, since both of his fellow JRs have had big years. ‘Reacher’ returned with Season 4, adapted from Lee Child’s thirteenth Jack Reacher novel, ‘Gone Tomorrow’, and the results were huge. Season 4 reached 66 million viewers globally in its first 28 days, beating Season 3 and ranking among the top 5 most-viewed seasons of any original series in Prime Video history.

The future looks just as busy for Ritchson. Prime Video has renewed ‘Reacher’ for Season 5 and Season 6, and an 8-episode spinoff, ‘Neagley’, was set to follow the Season 4 finale. Krasinski’s Jack Ryan also had his own comeback this year. He reprised the role in a new sequel film, continuing the franchise after the Prime Video series ended in 2023.

‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War’ arrived on Prime Video on May 20, with Krasinski co-writing the script alongside Aaron Rabin and Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly and Sienna Miller rounding out the cast.

For now, the closest these heroes will get to sharing the screen is an AI-made meme. Still, the post offers a rare image of the 3 leads together, even if it was generated rather than shot.

What makes it work is the easy camaraderie behind it. A star pausing his own victory lap to cheer on 2 rival franchises on the same streamer is the kind of moment fans love, and the playful exchange with Ritchson only added to the fun.

Which Prime Video action hero would you most like to see team up with the others?
