‘Venom: The Last Dance’ was released just a few days ago. This movie wraps up the ‘Venom’ trilogy and serves as Hardy’s goodbye to the franchise. With how the movie ended, it feels like the story is complete, and another character, especially Knull, the King in Black, is ready to take the franchise forward.

Honestly, I didn’t like how the movie showed Knull, but I get that this was just a preview of the King in Black. The movie’s director and writer confirmed that there are bigger plans for Knull, and he was never meant to be the main villain in ‘The Last Dance.’

Knull’s story will continue in the SSU, and some theories suggest that the Sinister Six might fight him. There are also strong rumors that Knull will cross over to the MCU as the main villain in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4.’

Knull definitely has the power to jump into another universe, but the challenge is telling the story in a way that feels natural and not forced.

Austin Medeiros recently shared an interesting theory on X. This idea has been talked about before, but after the release of ‘Venom 3,’ it’s more relevant than ever.

The theory is that Peter Parker dies at the end of the movie and then bonds with the Venom symbiote left in the MCU, bringing him back to life.

This would create a codex and let Knull know about another way to escape, potentially leading to a big “King in Black” event movie.

The theory could work, but you need to watch the movie to understand why the Codex is important and why Peter has to die for it to be created.

People reacted well to the theory, but there are some issues with it. Making Knull Spider-Man’s next big enemy might mean we won’t get a smaller, street-level story for a while.

Another problem is that it seems unlikely Knull will be the villain since ‘Spider-Man 4’ is supposed to come out between ‘Doomsday’ and ‘Secret Wars.’ This means the movie needs to be important for those two events.

Also, Knull should have a proper build-up in the MCU. Even if this story is planned, it would be better to finish the multiverse saga first before introducing Knull.
