The first teaser for Baahubali: The Eternal War has been released online, giving fans a first glimpse at the next chapter of India’s hit epic saga. The trailer shows the legendary hero Amarendra Baahubali performing gravity-defying stunts in a vibrant, Spider-Verse-style animation, promising an exciting mix of mythology and modern 3D visuals.

Directed by Ishan Shukla, known for his work on Star Wars: Visions episode The Bandits of Golak, the film continues the story after the events of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. While the previous films focused on Baahubali’s mortal journey, The Eternal War takes the hero into a cosmic adventure.

According to the synopsis, “His heart aching for those he left behind, Amarendra Baahubali finds himself at the center of an ancient cosmic war between devas and asuras. As he navigates through the 14 realms of existence, he forges an unlikely alliance, confronts divine forces beyond mortal comprehension, and fights to restore balance to the cosmos.”

Ramya Krishna returns to voice Sivagami, reprising her role from the live-action films. Telugu superstar Prabhas is back as Amarendra Baahubali, providing continuity for the fans of the franchise. The film’s script is written by Scott Mosier, who began his career producing Kevin Smith classics like Clerks and Dogma, and later directed animated films such as The Grinch.

The animation is a collaborative effort across multiple studios, including Mihira Visual Labs in India, Aniventure in the U.K., Zaratan in Scotland, and Alcyde in France, reflecting a global production scale.

The teaser’s release has already generated excitement among fans eager to see Baahubali in a new mythological and visually stunning adventure. The combination of Prabhas’ return, Shukla’s direction, and Mosier’s script promises a fresh, high-energy continuation of the beloved saga.
