A Business Proposal (2022 -)
This romantic comedy is based on a webtoon of the same name. It is the story of Shin Ha-ri who accepts to go on a blind date, taking the position of her friend, but finds out that her date is her boss. She disguises herself as her friend with the goal to scare him away, but after she recognises him, all her plans go awry, especially when he makes a proposal.
Welcome to Waikiki (2018-2019)
Dong Goo, Joon Ki and Doo Shik are three men with different personalities, but with the same idea and plan. They open a guest house names Waikiki in Itaewon where they offer accommodation mostly for foreigners.
Dong Goo dreams of becoming a film director, Joon Ki is an eccentric actor who wants to make a career and Doo Shik is a freelance writer who spends his days doing nothing. Together with some members of their families and their friends, they start to live together in an uncomfortable and suspicious atmosphere.
What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim (2018)
Lee Young Goon is a narcissistic and self-absorbed Vice Charmain of his family’s company. He thinks very highly of himself and is barely interested in anyone around him. He has a nice and capable secretary who decides to resign from her job after nine years of their strictly business relationship.

Now she has to find a way to go back to South Korea, together with her North Korean crush who was hiding and protecting her there and now they have to plan their escape while hiding their love as well.
Descendants of the Sun (2016)
This is a modern love story about a relationship between Captain Yoo Shi Jin from the South Korean Special Forces and Doctor Kang Mo Yeon, a surgeon at Seoul’s Haesung Hospital. They will find themselves in the middle of great events and numerous dangers.
They find themselves in the middle of a war-town fictitious country of Urk and have to deal with their personal and professional issues.
Fight For My Way (2017)
A romantic story of two childhood best friends, Ko Dong Man, a high school Taekwondo champion and Choi Ae Ra, a temperamental and dynamic girl who dreams of becoming a famous announcer.
Suddenly, they begin developing feelings for each other and have to learn to deal with his new situation, together with their future aspirations and plans, Ko’s wishes to have a career in the UFC and Choi, also with her ambitious plans.
Legend of the Blue Sea (2016-2017)
This is a fantasy drama inspired by a Joseon legend from Korea’s historical tales about a fisherman who captured and kidnapped a mermaid. It tells the story of Kim Dam Ryung and a mermaid he named Se Hwa, somewhere in August 1598.
In the present, we follow the story of Heo Joon Jae, a conman with magical abilities who escapes to Spain after a successful trick, where he meets Shim Chung, a mermaid who is washed ashore near his oceanside resort.
Mr Queen (2020-2021)
This hilarious fantastic comedy brings the story of Jang Bong Hwan, a chef who works for the country’s top politicians at the Blue House. Somehow, he finds himself in the body of Queen Cheorin in the Joseon period.
She will soon discover that the situation and relationships at court are not at all what they seem, especially with King Cheoljong, who has a suspicious and dark side to him.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021 – )
Yoo Hye – Jin is a down-to-earth dentist, a realist and a rightful woman whose life is about to change drastically. She moves to the seaside village of Gongjin where she meets Hong Du-Sik, called chief Hong by the residents.
He is a handsome, but mysterious man who seems to be unemployed, but is always the first to appear and give a hand when someone is in need. Yoo Hye-Jin becomes very curious about him and decides to get to know him.
My Love from Another Star (2013-2014)
This romantic comedy flirts with fantastic parts, talking about Do Min-Joon, an alien who has been living on Earth for 400 years and will be able to return home in three months. But everything changes for him when he meets and falls in love with the famous actress Chun Song-Yi.
He spent all these centuries trying to distance himself from humans and now one simple event will become one of the most difficult things for him.
I Am Not a Robot (2017-2018)
This romantic SCI-FI comedy brings the story of Kim Min Gyu, a wealthy and successful man who lives an isolated life due to his severe allergy to physical contact with other people. But one day everything changes when he falls in love with a beautiful and kind girl who is pretending to be a robot.
She is doing it for her ex-boyfriend, a genius robotics professor and she is the first individual who Kim Min Gyu can get close, which brings him solace and hope but not for long.
Reply 1988 (2015-2016)
One of the most famous and beloved South Korean romantic comedy dramas is this beautiful tv series that brings us back to the 1980s where we meet five families with their five teenage kids who live in a small neighbourhood in Seoul.
Even though it seems that everything was a bit simpler then, with less technology and all the news, it was still challenging, especially for adolescents who had to find their place in the world. Five teenagers, together from their childhood try to survive their days and teen years and prepare themselves for the future.
It’s Okay Not To Be Okay (2020)
This beautiful and heartwarming story introduces us to a man employed in the psychiatric ward and a female children’s books writer. Moon Kang Tae is a community health worker who has time only for his job Go Moon Young is a talented artist who has never known love.
It was destiny that brought them together since they slowly begin to change their unusual ways of behaving and start healing each other’s emotional wounds.
W: Two Worlds (2016)
Fictional webtoon W begins to function as a world that really exists out there. Kang Chui is a talented and handsome boy who becomes famous after winning a shooting competition but his world falls apart when his family gets brutally murdered and he is accused of the hideous crime.
Yeon-joo is the daughter of the author of this popular W and after her father’s sudden disappearance she decides to visit his studio and try to find something about it. She is pulled into W’s alternate universe where she meets and falls in love with Kang Chui.
Hotel del Luna (2019)
Somewhere deep in the centre of Seoul lies an interesting and curious hotel, something that no one has ever seen before. Jang Man Wol is a selfish and greedy woman who is running it, being cursed to spend all eternity there, catering to the needs of its most peculiar clients.
Her only way to escape is to find someone who has committed a much worse sin than hers, but she is starting to lose hope after 1000 years. And then she meets Goo Chang Seong who is forced to run the hotel because of the deal his father made with Man Wol many years ago.
Kill Me, Heal Me (2015)

18 Again (2020)
This is an interesting fantasy comedy-drama about an unsatisfied married couple who in their late thirties figure out they want something more. Hong Dae-yung’s life starts falling apart when he gets fired, his wife files for a divorce and he realises that his two twin sons are using him only for pocket money.
He makes a wish of going back in time and miraculously wakes up in his 18-year-old body, but retains his 37-year-old self. He starts living a completely different life, enrols in his sons’ high school and has the opportunity to look at things from a changed perspective.
Our Beloved Summer (2021)
This coming-of-age romantic comedy tells the story of Choi Woong and Kook Yeon-soo, ex-lovers with a pact never to meet again. It is completely normal that destiny has other plans and soon they find themselves in a situation they can’t get easily out of.
There is a certain documentary they filmed together ten years ago which went viral and now they are forced to see each other again and we will witness their complicated relationship and the feelings they share.
True Beauty (2020-2021)
This romantic story centres on a high school girl who masters the art of make-up after being bullied and called names because of being perceived as ugly. She decides to transform herself into a beautiful goddess everyone will admire.
Yu-kyung has always considered herself ugly and even though she managed to physically transform and gain popularity in her new school, she is still afraid that her peers will discover her true face. Because This Is My First Life (2017)
This clever and interesting romantic comedy-drama talks about sexism, chauvinism and stereotypes and how society impacts people’s views and feelings. It is the story of Nam Se Hee and Yoon Ji Ho, two completely different individuals whose lives are about to be connected.

Itaewon Class (2020)
On the first day in his new high school, Park Sae Ro Yi punches his bullying colleague who ends up being the son of a successful CEO who runs a restaurant business where Ro Yi’s father works. After refusing to apologise, Ro Yi gets expelled from school and his father is fired from work.
A chain of unpleasant events ends up with Ro Yi going to prison and promising himself he will get revenge on the CEO that ruined his life. After getting out of prison, he opens up a restaurant in Itaewon, Seoul which becomes a great success, with a little help from Jo Yi Seo who is very popular on social media and starts working as the restaurant manager.
