The Star Wars universe is incredibly unique in terms of the different races and personalities of its characters. In that regard, the appearances of the characters are also quite unique, in the sense that they have different looks that you won’t see in other places. That’s why we are here to look at the 20 best hairstyles that you can see in Star Wars.

20. Mace Windu

Mace Windu was one of the strongest Jedi during the existence of the old Jedi Order. He was also recognized for his strength and leadership, and that means that he was one of the most prominent Jedi during his time and was one of the most badass Jedi in existence.

While we all know that Mace Windu doesn’t have any hair, he still makes it on this list due to how he pulls off the bald look better than anyone else in Star Wars history. Add the fact that Mace Windu is more badass than anyone, then it becomes understandable why his bald look makes it on this list.

19. Fennec Shand

Fennec Shand has one of the most unique hairstyles in the entire Star Wars universe due to the fact that this character was able to make use of the character’s name through her appearance. And this was something that Ming Na Wen, the actress, was conscious of when she started portraying the character. In an Instagram post, she said:

“We were inspired by Fennec’s name, which brings to mind the fennec fox. This fox is orange, with very big ears, is often a loner, cunning, and very stealthy. Just like Fennec Shand. 

With that inspiration and some discussions, Maria came up with braids on the top of my head to mimic the fox’s ears. The long ponytail with its intricate braiding is the fox’s tail. The top front of my hair is braided, then these strands are woven into a halo wig to achieve this look. Oh, and the orange cording is Fennec’s trademark color. Pretty cool, right?  

This sleek look is not easy to do and takes alot of work and skill, but Maria has the magic fingers and the mad talents! Bravo!! Now, let’s go kick some ass!”

Finn was one of the big three of the new Star Wars trilogy. He started off as a man who was raised to be a Storm Trooper for the First Order but began to realize that what the First Order was doing was wrong, and that prompted him to defect.
