How Old Is Ahsoka Tano In The Book Of Boba Fett?
One of the Star Wars characters that have seen and experienced more than almost any other character is Ahsoka Tano, who was present during the time of the Clone Wars until the events of The Book of Boba Fett. Now, considering that there is a considerable time gap between the Clone Wars and her reappearance in the era of The Mandalorian, how old would Ahsoka be in The Book of Boba Fett?
Ahsoka Tano should be right around 45 years old at the time of The Book of Boba Fett. She was born on 36 BBY, which is 40 years before the fall of the Empire in Return of the Jedi. So, because The Book of Boba Fett happens on 9 ABY or five years after Return of the Jedi, Ahsoka should be around 45.
Even though Ahsoka has basically seen it all throughout her entire time as a Star Wars character, it is important to note that she was pretty young during her introduction to Star Wars: Clone Wars. As such, if you think about it, her being in her 40s in The Book of Boba Fett should be perfect for someone who has enough experience and wisdom to be a friend and adviser to a younger Luke Skywalker.
How Old Was Ahsoka Tano In The Clone Wars?
There are plenty of different interesting characters in the entire Star Wars galaxy, given the fact that this is a pretty vast universe that has the potential to be bigger than anything in the history of film and television. Of course, one of the most interesting characters that we have seen throughout the long history of Star Wars is Ahsoka Tano.
Ahsoka Tano is a character that has seen almost everything imaginable since the time of the Clone Wars up to the events that happened after the fall of the Empire and just before the sequel trilogy. That is because she was introduced in Star Wars: Clone Wars as Anakin Skywalker’s padawan learner, an apprentice Jedi that learns on the field under a Jedi Knight.
When she was introduced, Ahsoka was an immature yet headstrong character that was quite similar to Anakin Skywalker, who probably got that from his master Obi-Wan Kenobi himself. She is also very witty and was nicknamed “Snips” by Anakin due to her snippy wit. However, she was a fixture during the Clone Wars and was involved in a lot of the battles that the Republic had with the Separatists.
But, given the fact that she was still a padawan learner back when she was introduced in the Clone Wars, how old was Ahsoka in Star Wars: Clone Wars?
Ahsoka Tano was born on 36 BBY, which is 14 years before the events of the Clone Wars, which happened during 22 to 19 BBY. That means that Ahsoka was just 14 years old when she was a padawan learner under Anakin Skywalker.
During the Clone Wars, Ahsoka was wrongfully accused of a crime. The Jedi Council was quick to expel her from the order before they become willing enough to bring her back when her name was cleared. But because Ahsoka didn’t like the way that the Jedi Council treated her when she was innocent all along, she left the Jedi Order on her own during the middle of the Clone Wars.
Ahsoka was once again a central character during the final parts of the Clone Wars, even though she was no longer a Jedi working with the Republic to stop the Separatists. She witnessed the fall of the Jedi Order during Order 66 but was able to survive it because she was not with the Jedi at that time. During the rise of the Empire and the end of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka was right around 17 years old.
How Old Was Ahsoka Tano in Rebels?
During the rise of the Empire and the reign of Emperor Palpatine, plenty of Jedi went into hiding because Darth Vader and his Inquisitors were hunting them down all over the galaxy. While plenty of Jedi fell to Vader, Ahsoka survived during that time because she went into hiding in the Outer Rim territories.
During that time, she spent her life as a nomad that didn’t have a proper home so that she could continue to keep herself safe from the Empire while also going on adventures as well. That was the time when she crafted a pair of white lightsabers, which were unique to her.
However, Ahsoka made her return in Star Wars: Rebels, which happened 14 years after Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and five years before Episode IV: A New Hope. Now sporting her white lightsabers, she assisted Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, who had now taken a padawan named Ezra Bridger. Her time with Syndulla’s rebel faction also allowed her to come face to face with Darth Vader, who she didn’t know was her former master, Anakin Skywalker.
During the time of Star Wars: Rebels, which happened during 5 to 0 BBY, Ahsoka must have been around 31 to 36 years old. This was the last time we saw Ahsoka, as she wasn’t featured in the main events of the Rebellion during the original trilogy.
How Old Is Ahsoka Tano In The Mandalorian?
After not appearing in the four-year full-on rebellion that the Rebels had against the Empire during the original trilogy, Ahsoka Tano made her return to the Star Wars continuity in The Mandalorian. In her appearance in season 2 of The Mandalorian, she met with Din Djarin and The Child, with who she was able to communicate. That was when we learned that The Child’s name was actually Grogu.
The reason why Ahsoka was able to meet Din Djarin and Grogu was that she was searching for Grand Admiral Thrawn, the main antagonist of the latter parts of Star Wars: Rebels. It was Bo-Katan Kryze who directed Djarin to her location on the planet Corvus. After her partnership with Din Djarin in liberating a town controlled by remnants of the Empire, she gave Din Djarin the pure Beskar spear she won from Morgan Elsbeth.
Since The Mandalorian happened on 9 ABY or nine years after the start of the Rebellion, Ahsoka should be right around 45 years old in her first appearance in a live-action Star Wars series. Take note that she was about 40 years old during the fall of the Empire, which was five years before The Mandalorian.
How Old Is Ahsoka Tano In The Book Of Boba Fett?
After making her live-action debut in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano made her much-anticipated return in episode 6 of The Book of Boba Fett. She was on the same planet where Luke Skywalker was training Grogu. She was also helping Luke build a new Jedi Temple on that planet.
Ahsoka was the one who met up with Din Djarin, who wanted to visit Grogu to see how he was doing. She was also the one who told the Mandalorian that seeing him would only cloud Grogu’s mind, and that was when Din Djarin decided to leave without seeing his friend. However, he did leave a gift for Ahsoka to give to Grogu before he left the planet.
Considering that it hasn’t been long after Din Djarin met Ahoska on Corvus and that The Book of Boba Fett happened right after the events of season 2 of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano should still be 45 and nearing 46 as of this writing.
