Multiplayer has become almost an essential part of the gaming world, enabling players to compete against each other in-game or tackle epic challenges as trusted allies. At the time of writing, multiplayer is not enabled in Blade and Sorcery due to technical reasons. However, fans and players have been using multiplayer mods to enable the feature in Blade and Sorcery.

A massive group of Blade and Sorcery fans have been dreaming of the day they could play this VR masterpiece with their friends using a multiplayer mode – but, the devs do not seem to be adding multiplayer to the game. Fortunately, there are quite a few mods that allow you to do so. Stick around to find out about multiplayer in Blade and Sorcery, and how you can set it up using mods.

Is Blade and Sorcery Multiplayer?

Blade and Sorcery takes the medieval genre to an entirely new level using VR technology and a stellar POV for an extremely immersive and realistic gameplay experience. This fantasy sandbox game is filled with physics-driven melee, ranged, and magic combat, enabling players to transform their characters into powerful warriors, archers, or sorcerers to demolish their foes.

Countless fans have been begging for Blade and Sorcery to become multiplayer for quite a few years, at least in some capacity. There is no denying that this type of game would be miles better if you could play it with allies or take on other players as opponents. But, as of 2022, a multiplayer mode hasn’t officially been included in the game – potentially due to technical reasons.

While many people still hope for a day where a formal multiplayer mode or feature will be enabled in the game, the odds of this happening seem to be quite low. Some people in the Blade and Sorcery community feel that if multiplayer is ever enabled, it will likely be co-op as opposed to competitive.
