Bloober Team, Which Brought Us the ‘Silent Hill 2’ Remake, Is Working on a Remake of ‘The Silent Hill’

The Silent Hill franchise is one of the biggest and most important gaming franchises of all time, and probably the biggest survival horror franchise of all time. And while we’re still waiting for the release of Silent Hill f, we have some additional good news.
You probably remember how successful the Silent Hill 2 remake was when it was released last year, and now it seems that the same studio is working on yet another remake.
The game that started it all came out in 1999 and based on the latest reveal, it is going to come back with a bang!
Konami, the publisher of the franchise, just teased that Bloober Team, the developer behind the Silent Hill 2 remake, is working on a remake of the cult classic title The Silent Hill, the first title in the franchise.

The previous remake was a hit and giving the original game to the same team sounds like a winning combination. The Silent Hill game has become a proper cult classic and it is a genre-defining game, so a remake is more than welcome.
The game is listed as being “in development” at this point, so we don’t have a proper release date, but we hope that more information will be revealed soon.
