Chad Powers Star Glen Powell and ‘Landman’ Star Michelle Randolph Turn the Texas-Tennessee Showdown Into a Game Day Date
For a couple that usually keeps things low-key, Glen Powell and Michelle Randolph picked one of college football’s loudest stages for a rare public outing. The Longhorns superfan has become a fixture at Texas games this season, but this time, the attention was just as much on who was standing next to him.
The setting was the marquee matchup of Week 4 of the college football season between No. 1 Texas and No. 14 Tennessee at Neyland Stadium. The atmosphere in Knoxville was electric, and the crowd even included President Trump, who was booed by onlookers at one point.
Amid all the chaos, the actors carved out a sweet moment of their own. In a photo obtained by TMZ, Powell, wearing an orange University of Texas hat and matching button-down shirt, beamed at Randolph, who kept it casual in a white tank top and sunglasses. The pair were seated in a box inside the stadium with friends.
Powell also made his presence known before the action began. He was spotted on the sideline ahead of kickoff, throwing up the Hook ‘Em hand sign in a white tank top and burnt orange button-up, while Randolph paired her white tank with brown shorts. The coordinated look didn’t go unnoticed, with fans praising a couple that clearly understood the assignment.
The outing ended on a high note for the Texas faithful. The undefeated Longhorns beat the Volunteers 20-17, a result that surely made Powell’s smile even wider. This was far from Powell’s first big game of the fall. He appeared on ‘ESPN College GameDay’ earlier this season when Texas hosted Ohio State in Austin. That contest ended in a narrow 24-23 Longhorns win over the Buckeyes.

Randolph was part of that day too. Powell later shared Instagram photos showing her with his family in a private suite, alongside famous friends Zac Efron, Miranda Lambert, Madelyn Cline and Chord Overstreet. Powell’s parents and sisters were also on hand for the celebration.
The pair have gradually stepped into the spotlight over the past year. They reportedly began seeing each other around October 2025 and sparked romance buzz the following month when they were spotted dancing closely at the Austin bar Broken Spoke. Powell made things Instagram official in July with a Fourth of July kissing photo, and the couple later took a trip to Paris in August.

Powell eventually addressed the romance directly. While signing autographs in New York City on September 3, he told TMZ that going public didn’t make him nervous because he believes in the relationship, and he described things between them as very serious. He stopped short of addressing whether an engagement could be on the horizon.
Randolph, meanwhile, has been far more private. The ‘Landman’ star prefers to keep her love life out of the public eye after watching her sister’s very public experience on ‘The Bachelor’, and she has spoken about wanting to keep her personal and professional lives separate. That makes a stadium appearance like this one especially notable.

As with most celebrity romances, the online reaction has been mixed. Plenty of fans gushed over the photos, with one calling the sight of the couple at a Longhorns game their new favorite thing. Others were more cynical, with one reply under TMZ’s post dismissing the outing as a PR stunt and questioning why the outlet was covering college football games.
Either way, Powell’s devotion to his team is well documented, and Randolph appears to be embracing game days alongside him. With ‘Landman’ Season 3 preparing to begin production in Texas, the Lone Star State could see a lot more of this couple.
