Clip from ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Features a Cameo from Our Favorite Avenger

This year’s CinemaCon has been great. Marvel Studios presented clips from various upcoming projects, including an exclusive 9-minute preview of the next movie.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is highly anticipated as the only MCU film slated for release this year. There’s a lot riding on it for the studio, aiming to regain fans’ trust and pave the way for something big with Deadpool.

This is what the CinemaCon attendees watched yesterday. The footage showed Wade Wilson, now working as a car salesman, alongside his X-Force buddy Peter, who’s holding onto Deadpool’s old costume, suggesting a return to superhero antics. At a surprise birthday bash, familiar X-Men characters like Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead make appearances. Wade’s relationship with Vanessa is shown as friendly but no longer romantic, as they’ve split up.

During the party, the TVA interrupts and transports Wade to meet Mr. Paradox, offering him a chance to play a big role in the multiverse’s timeline. Wade gets a suit upgrade and adamantium swords. With plenty of humorous moments, including breaking the fourth wall, Wade embraces his new role with style.

The presentation also mentioned that Deadpool himself designed the popcorn buckets for the upcoming movie. Feige described the movie as “F**** Awesome.”

One standout moment from the clip is the appearance of Thor, one of the most notable Avengers, mourning over Deadpool’s lifeless body. Matthew McFadden’s Mr. Paradox informs him, “That happens in the distant future.”

While ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is rumored to feature numerous cameos, some fans noticed that the footage featuring Thor might actually be from ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ or ‘Thor: The Dark World.’
