After the 24th and final episode aired, it was announced that a second season was in production and would follow the Stone Wars arc, airing between January 14, 2021, and March 25, 2021. After the 11th and final episode aired, it was announced that a third season was in production. A special episode focusing on Ryusui was then announced on December 19, 2021, during Jump Festa ’22, and the third season was confirmed to air sometime in 2023. With the Stone Wars over, the former members of Tsukasa’s Empire of Might join forces with the Kingdom of Science to build a ship capable of sailing across the open ocean to seek answers to the mystery of global petrification. However, before they can begin their voyage Senku and his friends need to find some key resources and push some new scientific advancements to build the type of vessel they need.
