Easter Eggs from ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Trailer You Might Have Missed

The debut trailer for ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ has sparked controversy with its introduction of Sabra, the CGI depiction of Red Hulk, and the transition of Sam Wilson assuming the mantle of Captain America in the MCU.

Despite its brevity, the teaser trailer cleverly integrates numerous Easter eggs. If you missed any, fear not—we’ve got you covered!

Tiamut is finally referenced

In ‘Eternals,’ the Celestial Tiamut was frozen in the ocean, a plot point that was often ridiculed for not being addressed again in the MCU. Now, ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ appears to make this a significant storyline, with glimpses of the Celestial shown briefly in the trailer.

Prior to the trailer’s release, rumors suggested that various Earth nations would vie for control over Tiamut’s resources and the Celestial “corpse.”

The Leader can be briefly seen in the trailer

In the trailer, at the 1:04 mark, we glimpse The Leader, portrayed once again by Tim Blake Nelson, continuing a storyline hinted at in ‘The Incredible Hulk’ from the early days of the MCU. Recognizable by his green skin and confirmed by subtitles identifying him as Samuel Sterns, this marks The Leader’s highly anticipated return to the big screen.

Captain America needs a super-suit

In our screenshot of the Celestial Easter egg, it’s evident that Sam Wilson dons a new suit. His helmet incorporates Ant-Man’s quantum technology, suggesting Sam will utilize advanced “super-suits” to compensate for his lack of super-soldier serum, enhancing his capabilities in combat against vastly stronger adversaries.

New Falcon is in the house

Captain America’s legacy continues with his Falcon, and now that the former Falcon has become Captain America, Joaquin Torres is stepping into the role. A brief scene in the trailer shows both of them in flight.
