Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a topic that every cinephile is talking about these days, especially this week when this newest MCU movie finally premiered in theaters. And while Marvel Studios is counting the money, the fans are talking about the movie, and theories about when and what we’re going to see from the movie’s main characters are already all around the social media.

The movie ended with an already known Marvel line which Marvel uses to announce that a character will be back. So yeah, there was “Doctor Strange will return” at the end, so we don’t need to worry about that. The only question is will it be in Doctor Strange 3, or maybe some other movie where he could be a guest star like he was in Spider-Man: No Way Home. It’s anyone’s guess, but we’re definitely looking forward to it!

And while Strange’s future in the MCU isn’t questionable, the fans are wondering what’s going on with Scarlet Witch. When we look at it, it’s very unlikeable that this movie was the last we see of Wanda, regardless of the given ending of the movie. The actress Elizabeth Olsen now teased her future in the MCU.

“We got to do so much with the character, so much with the story and I just wanted to make sure that we continued the evolution into this film and to play things that our fans or the audience haven’t seen her do yet. There’s a couple different versions of what could happen at the end of this film. Mostly, I want to hear what the fans who know her best, what they would like to see from her next.” — Elizabeth Olsen for Extra

DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS SPOILERS FOLLOWING!

Before the movie premiered, the fans generally didn’t believe that Wanda will be the main villain of the movie, because it sounded too obvious, but Marvel now played the uno-reverse card and did just that. Wanda came into possession of Darkhold, which poisoned her mind and made her delusional. After her mind was set free, the movie ended with Wanda destroying the Darkhold, seemingly killing herself in the crumble of the tower. But, when we look at it, this “death” is shown in a very naive way, and we know that in MCU, no one ever really dies, so we don’t think we need to worry, Wanda is still way too popular to be thrown away from the franchise like this.

There are some rumors that Marvel might be preparing the Scarlet Witch solo movie, but we’re taking that with a huge grain of salt, but we’re not against that idea.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness now plays in theaters.
