We previously covered the rumored plans for Doctor Doom in the next two ‘Avengers’ films, and today, industry insider and leaker MyTimeToShineHello has shared details about what ‘Kang Dynasty’ was originally set to involve.

According to the leak, ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’ would have featured the TVA gathering Anchor Beings from across the Multiverse, believing they were crucial to defeating the Council of Kangs. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men were intended to be Anchors for their respective realities, while Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was set to be the Anchor for Earth-616.

The movie was intended to be more contained than ‘Secret Wars,’ centering on Holland’s Peter Parker, Maguire, Garfield, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, and other Anchors such as Nic Cage’s Ghost Rider. The plot was crafted so that these characters would ultimately fail, causing the collapse of the Multiverse and allowing Kang to create Battleworld. This would then set the stage for ‘Secret Wars,’ where various MCU characters and figures from the Multiverse would converge on Battleworld.

It seems like a compelling storyline, and many fans have expressed their belief that this would have been the ideal direction for the MCU to take.
